Hi

I have been trying to avoid the I ching for a little while and not ask too many questions.

Anyway, I have just asked whther I need to make contact with my ex

Do I need to reach out to her?

I received

52.1.3.6 > 24

One of the methods for using multiple changing lines suggested it goes through each Hex in turn

So 52.1 > 22.3 > 27.6 > 24

Can anybody give me some help with this reading?

Not only saying no but keeping still as well. Keeping still includes not keep asking exactly the same question(s), yet again.

Your heart is not in this. You are only "not contacting" her to manipulate the situation and find a way to bring her back. That's the point of 52.1. Now I'm going to diverge for a minute. There's a thread on the Divination Discussion forum called, "Does the Yi cause you to lose your personal power?" There is an argument over there that the Yi is just a stodgy old fart that isn't free and colorful enough and we shouldn't listen to everything we hear like gospel.

So why listen to me? Why listen to the message? Go do what you want. You want to contact her, and you are finding it insufferable to not contact her. I can tell that by your answer. The argument over there is don't restrain your impulses, you might become boring (to other people). Go against the advice and come tell us what happened.

It does seem you are getting slightly irritated with me for asking questions about my relationship. (Again)! yet not seeming as uncaring to another lady who keeps asking questions about her relationship?
