i am at a standstill indeed!! I am trying for promotion and it is evident that i am not getting promoted by the way my manager is reacting to all my questions. There is a possibility in salary raise(in Feb) but i am really unsure how much salary raise is possible.

"Trying" is not at all what hexagram 25 is about. 25 is about disentangling from the situation.

The lines seem pretty favorable, though. It's good fortune to "go on" without getting entangled - it's not a mistake to be constant (to what, I'm not sure - maybe just to doing your job?) - and line 5 specifically says do not try to treat this particular thing that seems wrong. "Without medicine, there is rejoicing."

Do you have in mind to leave the company at the end of the 4 months if you're not promoted? I'm not completely sure what the reading says about that, if anything. 25 zhi 23, Without Entanglement engaging with Stripping Away, might sound like leaving, but I also wonder if line 4 advises you're better off staying? Not sure.

But one way or another, I'm pretty sure the reading advises not trying to fix the specific promotion problem. Stop trying, stop asking your boss questions.

It looks like if you take initiative to request a raise then that might be possible. Overall though, it doesn't look like much progress there and you may ultimately assess it's time for you to move on. Maybe don't put all your eggs in one basket? See what else is out there or get ready to do so in order to see if you'll get a better offer?

That's quite a shift from initial published question to further elaborated situational context!

25 follows 24 which is the opposite of 23 (one yang line on bottom to one yang line on top).

In Huang's guidelines for multiple moving lines he suggests when there are three to take the middle. I personally like this approach because it keeps things simpler. The 4th line is the line of Managers (versus Kings or CEO's etc.) so there you go. The 4th line is the top of the Nuclear lower trigram Mountain which is about keeping still, and the entire Nuclear is 53 which is gradual advancement. However, this line is changing to Earth which is about being more passive, nurturing, supportive, feminine, yielding, i.e. not being too pushy.

25 follows 24 which has only one yang line but 25 has four including three on the top indicating strong energetic Heaven principle situation. This is a shift hexagram, a somewhat forceful situation with thunder below and heaven above.

23 is the almost exhaustion of yang however because the top line, being yang, wants to rise and, being unrestrained in that position, will soon float away leaving us with six yin lines, #2, the Primordial Mother.

It is quite weird that i am not getting any new job interviews/calls, this could be due to December freezing period as they prefer starting projects from January. So i will try to keep my innocence(25) and steadily prepare for interviews from the scratch(23). I will also try to talk with my Manager casually and ask if there would be any promotions/hikes in coming months.
