Hey all

I've been on a career break and was recently offered a job contract. However, just the other day my old job was advertised and it's tempting to apply. I asked:

what if I apply for my old job? 23.6>2 [...a ripe fruit uneaten]
what if I go to work at the new job next year? 50.3.6>40 [...line 3 - rich pheasant fat uneaten, but good fortune..]

I'm not sure about the meaning of the 23.6 (?). 50.3.6 seems positive though. Would appreciate any comments. Thanks in advance

Which job?
23.6>2
50.3.6>40

To me hexagram 2 suggests steady work, and 40 release, so it depends on what you want and the terms of the contracts. If you want a situation you know, then the first choice. If you want the excitement of a new situation, then the second choice.

My experience with 23.6 was me as the well qualified juicy melon that didn't get picked.

I'd go for the 50.3.6
(the 50.3 seems to have a shared quality with the 23.6, something unappreciated)
Line 6 looks good.

Ok thanks for that. Well I think I'll apply to my old job too to keep my options and will see how it goes. Cheers:bows:
