Lately, I have been hearing in the news about the Area 51 invasion. I feel that this was done as a distraction?

What is with the Area 51 hype? 12.2.5.6 Blocked to 40 Release.
Line 2 says, "Embracing the charge. Small people, good fortune. Great people, blocked. Creating success." Are people obsessed?
Line 5 says, "Resting when blocked. Great person, good fortune. It is lost, it is lost! Tie it to the bushy mulberry tree." Is it that people are stopped in the process?
Line 6 says, "Overturning the block. Before, blocked. Afterwards, rejoicing." Will there be a raid?

Fano-F, I'm curious which version / translation of the Yi you are using here?

As to the actual reading, Hex. 12 is called Separation, or No Interaction/Interrelation. In this case what I think it's describing are the millions of people who have no sense of meaning or purpose in their lives, so they have separated themselves from reality and instead live in an Area 51/X-Files/Fringe fantasy world. This certainly goes for the million or so people whom say they are going to 'storm the gates' of the United States Air Force's Area 51 outside of Rachel, NV (pop. 54) - and are going to do so by 'Running like a Naruto' (in other words to run like an animated cartoon character that can outrun the military's bullets).

This sense of Separation could also apply to the 10s or 100s of millions of people on the internet who have replaced their actual lives with fantasy - and if it's a distraction or obsession, maybe we need to look to our own lives for why that is so. It's to run like a cartoon instead of actually getting out and taking a walk in the forest, or among other human beings.

I was using Hilary's. Can this is part of the rise of conspiracy theorists? As with a distraction, Trump has been using them since his presidency.

The process associated with the enquiry you make is one of Deliverance where the tension and difficulties associated with your specific query will be loosened. You enquire about the hype, it seems, rather than Area 51.

The thing that is with the Area 51 hype is that it is an Obstruction and that communication has become closed and of little worth.
(2) Small people will be drawn in by what is being said by the hype (the obstruction). For Great people they will see things differently and not react to the hype.
(5) When people focus on things other than the obstruction then they will see beyond it. Here there is an opportunity for small people and Great People alike to see the truth in the matter.
(6) When the very thing that is causing the obstruction is turned on it's head and people are no longer cut off from the truth then there will be cause for celebration.

Good Luck

Trump does use distraction as a tool quite effectively - like talking about buying Greenland when there are problems with the economy that he'd rather we don't look at. But as far as I know he hasn't yet tweeted that the 'deep state' air force needs to open up Area 51 to let us all see what's really there, and as far as I know people have been talking about Area 51 for 30 years or so.

And again, are you really looking at what the Yi's answer is, or are you just wanting to find some excuse to attack Trump? After all, people can use the internet just like they can the I Ching to support their conspiracy theories.

I don't want to attack Trump, just that the Area 51 hype is still strong.

Yes, Area 51 hype is still strong, and just as divorced from reality as it always has been, maybe more so with so many people living their lives online and not in the real world. And this 'separation' between what is real and down to earth, and what is unreal and surreal seems to me to be the underlying theme of the reading.

But then again, I could be a Cylon and I'm just throwing you off-track.

It means, "I am surprised and incredulous." or 'what the hell!?'
I sort of thought it was 'what the heck/hell', but I still want to know what Fano-F means when he says it, and especially with the '?' at the end.

It was what the hell?
I kind of figured that out on my own. What I was asking was what does 'what the hell mean'? What are you saying when you say that?

Is it: 'what the hell, that was pretty darn funny'? Or, 'what the hell does this guy mean'? Or, 'what the hell, I can't believe that guy would say that.'? Or something else? By itself it's hard to tell what you mean.
