I wonder why the image shrinks. How could it look more readable?

Hi, Harmen:

I believe that the aparition of «含章» in H.2 y H.44 is more than mere casuality.

I dare to quote here your translation of 2.3 for comparison with that of Legge .

The third SIX, divided, (shows its subject) keeping his excellence under restraint, but firmly maintaining it. If he should have occasion to engage in the king's service, though he will not claim the success (for himself), he will bring affairs to a good issue.

含章可貞, 或從王事, 无成有終
...
Unrecognised outstanding service. Suitable to do the divination.
There is participation in royal affairs.
No accomplishments, but it will be finished.

I was looking for a quote in a modern french translation (Javalry), but I didn't find it. But I believe that this from a french accupunturist is worthy:
About H.44
44_Vinogradoff_L'esprit_de_L'aiguille_Rencontre_2.jpg

Michel Vinogradoff: L'esprit de l'aiguille, Springer, Paris 2006, page 44. (1)
______________________________
(1) Mere casuality?
Will translate to englsh ASSAP.
Gou, Meeting

This hexagram describes all the encounters.
Gou means a fortuitous encounter, a find that one makes on the way. It's also the conjoint, the coupling.
It is about the meeting between two beings. A meeting between a man and a woman that takes place spontaneously. Nothing is said about the evolution of this meeting. Only matters the moment when it takes place and that is what is described.

Judgment:
Vigor of the woman.
No use to catch a woman.

The text refers to the broken line that comes to face five full lines.
Symbol of the feminine, this line dares to meet five men [sic], full features, symbols of the masculine.

Of course, such a woman would not make a good wife ...

Jumping to become a Dragon
Leaping_Per_Dragon_Gate_2.jpg

«According to Chinese mythology, the Dragon’s Gate is located at the top of a waterfall cascading from a legendary mountain. Many carp swim upstream against the river’s strong current, but few are capable or brave enough for the final leap over the waterfall. If a carp successfully makes the jump, it is transformed into a powerful dragon. A Chinese dragon’s large, conspicuous scales indicate its origin from a carp...

... the five-character expression, Liyu Tiao Long Men, was originally used as a metaphor for a person’s success in passing very difficult imperial examinations, required for entry into imperial administrative service...

...To this day, when a student from a remote country village passes the rigorous national university examination in China, friends and family proudly refer to the “Liyu Tiao Long Men.” More generally, the expression is used to communicate that if a person works hard and diligently, success will one day be achieved.»
