Hi.
I asked "what can be done to my nervous strain on my back?"

Background: whenever some sttessful situation happens, adding to it domestic life (a two storey house, a dog, plants, cleaning etc), I fall into back pain, sciatic pain.

That was I's reply, 32.1.3.6>38

I looked for it on the Forum, but I noticed I should try combinations, bc there are no instances with these exact figures...

Thank you for your ideas on that!

Same thing happens to me, any stress goes straight to my back.

But you are asking 'what can be done?' in your case. Your answer looks very much to do with too much hurry. This is what Yi says and of course we are in 32, the daily round and continuity of life. Your habits and routines and well your way of life.

Yi addresses your way of life here directly in the lines. It seems to be telling you what not to do rather than what to do. You can read these 3 lines as a story of what's happening in this process of you getting stressed at home.

Line 1

'Diving in to perseverance.
Constancy, pitfall.
No direction brings harvest.'

You are wanting to get things sorted and done with perhaps before they really can be. This line tends to show up when one wants settlement before anything can be settled. This could also refer to your attitude to the back pain. Maybe it cannot be sorted once and for all, it's an ongoing process to do with how you live your daily life. In general you may try to get too much done at once, get stressed that things aren't finished and finalised when you feel they should be.

Line 3

'Not persevering in your de,
Maybe someone receives a gift of shame.
Constancy: humiliation.'

I wonder if there are obligations that you feel you have to fill to show someone else that you can. Or it could be you feel beholden to someone and you don't like that feeling. There's an exchange here that doesn't feel right to you. I find it's generally to do with receiving something one really shouldn't. I don't know how that applies to you here but it looks like a feeling thing. There's some shame at receiving what doesn't feel right so you may feel you have to over compensate.

Line 6

'Rousing perseverance, pitfall.'

This is a line when you keep on stirring things up when you need to let them develop in their own time. It's like someone always starting new projects without letting the previous ones develop.

So altogether slowing down in order to be able to see things differently (38) might be a way to understand this answer. Both lines 1 and 6 change here so you will have witnessed this pattern of yours in it's entirety and it's time to look at it a different way now (38). If you live with someone else this could mean letting go of your ways and agreeing to do things their way a little more. Or it could be you just need to see this pattern of living from a completely different angle (38)

Sometimes it's a good exercise to go to a room in your house and position yourself in a place in it that you have never occupied before. You'll then see the room differently and you can find you then get a break from the kind of thoughts you usually have in that room. That's a mini 38 exercise, a different angle.

Overall though I think this is a strong message from Yi to really slow down and let things take time. Also beware of being stressed by receiving favours or help that you may feel you have to over compensate for (32.3).

Yang pattern 22, yin pattern 47 You may have come to the question with an orientation of evaluating this situation by what it looks like. The way through may be to take in less external input, slow down and reach into your roots.

I should add there could be all kinds of reasons for your pain physically but Yi seems to be saying that muscle tension and so back pain is greatly exacerbated here by being in such a rush all the time. Not only that but it may be you aren't giving things in your life enough time to develop, as if they aren't producing lasting results fast enough. This needs to change a bit to help your back pain have chance to settle.

And I don't think back pain is a tameable beast, it kind of has a mind of it's own and often I find just doesn't like rush and the accompanying tension. If this answer were applied to the back pain itself I think you'd need to almost settle down with it rather than rush to fix it all at once. If you have tried various practitioners such as osteopaths perhaps you haven't given them long enough to help? Only you know how this answer applies really but that's what jumps out at me.

Hello, Trojina.
Thank you for your interpretation. It has put a lot of light over my query. It rings a huge cathedral bell here.
Still trying to see how line 3 is working, since there are two real persons involved in my state of mind 🙄
I have tried specialists (orthopedists, rheumathologist), but what helps me a lot is mild bodybuilding with a personal trainer. But due to covid, I have been doing exercises at home (with the same trainer guy), but resources are fewer than at the gym.
One more thing ---- I do have serious issues about Time and Patience. I always feel time is passing, and there's so much to do & to live. It is a human tendency, I think. But re. me, it causes me anguish every now and then.
Thank you, thank you so much for taking the time to help me here --- you have helped beyond words!!
🙏🏻🌞

P.S.: I will try the "point of vu" exercise, I see how this practice can help.
