Dear friends,
It's about midnight my time. I had a bad dream and woke up all sweaty. I often get this kind of "dream" like I was actually awake, I saw the light on my digital clock, so I wasn't really dreaming. I felt that someone was here and I was scared. I prayed but at the same time "yelling and chasing" that person to go away and they did. I woke up and got really scared. I asked "what does this mean? What do I need to know about this "dream" and got 63.1>39. Can someone help me to interpret this?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Hi

Thats a hard one, it may have to do with unfinished business or something on your mind at the moment that you dont want to push but feel you have too, obviously something that concerns you, you should maybe leave what it is alone and dont concern yourself as much as you think, the image is of a fox that gets his tail wet just as he skates a cross ice on to land, no real harm is done.

I think you fear something however the Yi i think is suggesting that nothing is so bad, a bit like your mum telling you had a bad dream. Its an interesting image of going for a peaceful night sleep but it didnt quite happen.

I have had trippy dreams after eating spicy curry.
Dreams generally are a release of things pent up however sometimes they dont make any sense.

They are pretty freaky those dreams where you are awake but asleep, i have had a few of them. I had one of those where i was in a jail and there were other people there that seemed quite real.

Just throwing some ideas at you.

Steve

I got 63.1 to 39 a lot a few years back - in fact it felt like groundhog day....
At the time my mind was over thinking, and I realised eventually that I could not continue in this constant state of suspended animation.

There is a comforting feel to the line though, and perhaps you should just accept that you are having the dreams, and that they will bring you no harm.

In my sight dreams is the way that the body maintains the mentally balance. If one is very depressed dreams will be brought from good times in ones life and the other way round, if one is too "stucked" in satisfaction something maybe dramatic would appear in the dreams. Too much Yin will cause Yang-dreams and vice versa.
As I see it the I is reacting on something that You have not properly passed (this I see in the mutual hexagram 64 Not yet across) and which You know (the inner trigram Li in hex. 63 To see/the Eye) You should have done... This inner, or lower, trigram changes to the trigram Kén (which attribute among others are The hand/to work out) which, together with the outer or upper trigram K'an forms hexagram 39 (Admonishment according to Kerson Huang).
Kerson Huang has, as advice for hex. 63 first nine: "You find that you cannot handle everything at once; things are beginning to be too much for you, but this is not a problem yet."
I'll all in all get it the way that You've left something undone, something You are aware off, that You can see never so clearly that You have to take hand on.... What ? You should know. But this is how I see the response from the I at glance.

Kttuan, thank you!! This is very interesting, I could never have guessed that.

Butterfly Spider, thank you for sharing your experience.

Steve & Svenrus, I think I'm starting to understand what that unfinished business is. Something that I think I should have done but was reluctant to at first. Thank you very much for your insights!!
