I had read now an article about the history of some hindu sects and some of the information had turned on a red light for me because i clearly seen some symbols that belong to me. So, first i preffered my tarot, which clarified to me pretty strongly that thare are two directions possible, both of them aren't nice sounding, but after i pass them, i am going to reap good results for the bad ones.

The things i managed to deduct from the tarot are:
for some reason, i am going to turn to sexual lust and lose interseted in my current form of spiritual practice, and after some suffering, i am going to find my occupation with whom i will earn a living.

second direction. I am going to offend very deeply some people that are dear to me in a thoughtless or misscalculated act, they are going to cut conncetions with me, i gain temporary victory, at some point afterwards i advance spiritually foreward.

So, i asked the ching about it and i got:

Hexagram 11 - T'ai (Peace) - present

Hexagram 36 - Ming I (Darkening of the Light) - future

this seems to be another one of the severe cases i got in the last years when i get slapped back into reality. In each case i know it is going to come, in each case i can't figure out how to deal with it, despite trying, and always caught of guard. Yes, i recognize a destiny call for a far more realistic attitude towards life, but the divination devices and astrology suggest an attitude so far from my development that, halas, it may take a lifetime to develop, not a short time. Another point is my weak intellect, somehow i feel a strange inclanation that the truly important learning information eludes out of my sight.

Another thing i can tell is that, the future has something with femininty (the article was about some matriarchial indu sects) and dark spirituality.

In light of all this, what gives?

I think your question and casting are:

How does the Yi casting connect to my Tarot readings?
11.2 > 36

You say: i am going to turn to sexual lust and lose interseted in my current form of spiritual practice, and after some suffering, i am going to find my occupation with whom i will earn a living.

Line 2 says:
Nine in the second place means:
Bearing with the uncultured in gentleness,
Fording the river with resolution,

I suppose the uncultured are your sexual partners.

You say: I am going to offend very deeply some people that are dear to me in a thoughtless or misscalculated act, they are going to cut conncetions with me, i gain temporary victory, at some point afterwards i advance spiritually foreward..

Line 2 says:
Not neglecting what is distant,
Not regarding one's companions:
Thus one may manage to walk in the middle.

Line 2 suggests you will go your own way independently and will continue in your proper path.

Since you are into spiritual studies, the darkness of hexagram 36 suggests the xuan (玄) like esoteric Buddhism.

also, just to read it in different words helps to understand too, here is hilary's translation of line 2:
Embracing emptiness, use this to cross the river.
Not distancing yourslef from what you leave behind,
Friends disappear.
Gaining honour, mov8ing to the centre.

The fact that you are talking about sexual lust speaks loudly through the fan yao 36.2, which can help build a part of the context or background, to compare with tarot it is much like the root card (below the centre two cards in celtic cross spread) and the past card (to the left of the primary two cards, present and affectual influences).

Brigthness hidden, wounded in the left thigh.
For rescue, use the power of a horse.
Good fortune.

The thighs can be indicative of base charkral energy, lust. And hex 11 certainly can bring the p[ower of a horse, but in a higher form.

I dunno where you saw yourself hurting others in your tarot spread but if that's what you saw then you dont have to adhere to that outcome, you can choose the middle road as 11.2 advises.

36.2 wilhelm
...But the injury is not fatal; it is only a hindrance. Rescue is still possible. The wounded man gives no thought to himself; he thinks only of saving the others who are also in danger. Therefore he tries with all his strength to save all that can be saved. There is good fortune in thus acting according to duty

the image of 36 speaks of the transformation of energy, such as lust, like in tantric breathing.

He veils his light, yet still shines.

I often think of 36 as healing, recuperation, or a way to do that. 11 is the energy that get released from keeping the light from being blown out. Like not releasing sexual energy through orgasm but using breath and meditative practices to move the energy through your bodies energy centres, recycling it for a different use.

Interesting, You mean tantric buddhism?, on the other hand, somewhat strange advice, because, i never got along with buddhist onthological claims or with the buddhist religion at all, too foriegn to me, but, what do you think when you say esoteric buddhism and in it's relation to darkness (well, there is all of these "heretical", small sects or cults in japan and tibet)
and, you know, even if i decide to embrace, even in a small amount, these teachings, most of them are kept secret.

I suppose the uncultured are your sexual partners.

maybe it's metaphoric, cause i don't have ones right now
however, a couple of month ago i had a a very unpleasent incident with a bunch of feminist women, that's all i can think of right now.

proper for me? or proper for my destiny what do you think??

Line 2 says:
Not neglecting what is distant,

from my experience, when hex 36 appears, it has some mood of, don't indludge yourself in overcalculating th situation, on the other hand, do not cease the calculation completely, you are not going to expect it anyway.

left tigh, maybe left hand path of some sort, dark spirituality again?

it is a possibility, hurting others, i don't take it for granted.

I think your take of darkness as being occult is not what I associate with 36, the darkness is a hiding a protection, in terms of religion I guess I would parallel it with how the Christians used to draw fishes in the sand to identify themselves as they would have been killed if they were openly christians. Sexuality came under the same restrictions for a more modern example.

what is the power of the horse?

thats from 36.2, the wounding of others isnt so serious that you cant fix it, use the power of a horse. Those words are directly in wilhelm's translation which if you dont have you can read here:
http://www.akirarabelais.com/i/i.html

I was knitting the two hexes together first from fan yao and relating hex then over to primary hex and line.

Read bradford's translation too. hermetica.info

Remember to read the scale of the yi reading in accordance to the real scale of your current life, are you a monk of a condemned religion trying to escape persecution?

As for learning alternative sexual practices if you were to put the available books end to end you might find the stairway to heaven, but seriously, just google it, there is enough info out there to get you started, or buy some books off amazon, or head to your nearest metaphysical bookstore.

However I do not think that's what 11.2 > 36 is directly saying, just wanted to make that clear. I was applying to what you had said that's all.

I think Tom said it clearly enough, I was just adding a different angle on it.
