Just wondering...what will I get out of a certain situation? Yi says, 21.2,5 into 10
and it looks it is referring to the course of action, not so much on what but on how?
Bradford speaks of "meeting half way" in both changing lines which probably is referring to my angry state of mind, but also about revisiting the whole idea of judgment.

I mean...if you would get this as a result, would you persevere or just let it drop altogether?
Thanx:bows:

Well, 21 is indeed about judgement, the use of legal constraints.

And line 2 is about immersing oneself (so that the nose is covered).

Line 5 shows the subject biting through, and finding the yellow gold. The position is perilous, but has a good augury.

And the relating Hexagram 10 shows that although one treads on the tail of a tiger, one does not get bitten. Hence, why give up?

Oddly enough, Dragona, you recently were advising someone on this hex and lines, and probably would apply here as well:

Would just like to add, since gotten the same hex the other day and found Hillary`s take on lines very sensible in Memorizing Threads discussion, will try to repeat, more or less...
You need to take decisive action since you have been/are emerged in this relationship very much, perhaps too much to smell the air around it, to be objective...(your nose in the meat
And now, straining as chewing dried old meat can be, you have to persevere in it to get to the prize-the truth of the matter or resolution, whichever will make you feel better.

Yes,I have that in mind, but she had 21.2,4 and a different question...she needs to dig into the situation and find out what that really is all about as I have seen it, while I was wondering does it pay off in a long run and was told to hold back in my judgment, there MAY be a middle way reached? I once got 10 unchanged for a conduct and it turned out to be a disaster...and why would I have to be the smaller one? I am a dragon, hear me roar! Naah, that was a Catwoman.....feeling a bit too much like a wet fox .-(

ha...i know the feeling....

Yes, well sad to say the I Ching has often steered me wrong, or at least so it seems. Perhaps I cannot quite hear it at times. I just do not see that 21.2.5 is telling you to hold back, I would say it is telling you to be diligent and very careful. But not to withdraw.

Yes, i suppose that is the way of the due mean.

:D yes, i would also be interested in hearing others on H10. As I already stated, to me it is hugely positive because it implies that although there is danger, one will not get harmed if acting moderately....
