Building an enduring frienship

My Iching reading for this question is, 26.2 4 6 to 55.
My question is about building a close relationship with someone I care about. Knowing this person has energized my life. The person has a relationship and I have a few close companions. Still I believe we both benefit from this relationship.we seem to have a natural connection and relate easily. I enjoy caring for tbis petson and feel happier having him in my life. I feel energized to pursuing goals that I have forgotton. There is atteaction for sure. Howrver, I feel that going beyond this to something enduring a deep frienship is really my hope. I am older by 13 years. His birthday is. Fec 10 and mine is Dec 19.
Any thoughts?

Most of all, trust your own instinct for the meaning of the hexagram. But my interpretation would be that yes you can have an enduring friendship.
26.1 - a line about a possible loss of control (perhaps the attraction)
26.4 - an image of reining in, constraining great power, which is the "taming" the hexagram talks about, positive for a friendship as you say which has energised your life and made you feel more capable (sorry for the italics I can't turn them off haha)
26.6 an awesome line, the most enlightened form of the hexagram - a release of attachments.
This friendship could be one that releases you from attachments of relationships, where you are able to overcome sexual attraction or possession, appreciating him for all that he is without needing him to be "yours".
55 as changing hexagram indicates a beneficial situation overall, with a lot of good to come.

Don't worry, deep friendship is there... Only you can understand why Yi responds with hexagram 26. You say "there is attraction for sure" ... What do you mean by attraction? For me, the attraction speaks of desire... But maybe I misunderstood your question. Anyway, I gave you a possibility of translation of the Yi, only you can understand 26. I invite you to read the different meanings of the hexagram and the 3 lines. The great book of Yi Ching is deep and powerful... In any case, you shouldn't feel left out. The relationship is there, the friendship is there...

Thank you. I always try to seek meaning and transform relationships. The energy is speaking about something perhaps that has been missing in my life. I am happy that perhaps good will come of it as a benefit to all. I am finding more courage to live and pursue spiritual and career passions which is good.

Matali, Thank you. Yes there is physical but I feel it is saying I want to love and care. So, I need to start with doing that for me as well as others. The energy is something to work with.
