buy which house? 21.4.6>24 or 3.6>42

Hi,

I am looking at putting a bid on a house in my old hometown, but I can't decide which one. The first is more money as it is a duplex, but it could be spot I could live in if I so chose. I asked what the effect would be if I bought it, and I got 21.4.6>24.

The second option is considerably cheaper, but would only be as an investment as they don't allow pets and I have a dog. Since it is a single condo, the rent coming in would be half the duplex as well. I asked the same question, and this time got 3.6>42.

Of course the bid for the second one is due in about an hour! It is in a very competitive part of the country and everything sells extremely quickly. Both will be sold within a few days.

On my own, I am leaning toward the duplex because it is quite nice and should increase in value, but it looks like the iChing is recommending the condo.

Any advice would be much appreciated, either iChing or real estate! Thank you very much.

Put a bid in for the condo. Will see what happens!

Why condo? 3.6 is so negative

21.4.6 → 24 is more favourable.
21.4 speaks about bidding process, 'pledges of money and arrows' before an arbiter.
21.6 warns about the idea in general? Or that you'll bound to this house, confining yourself a bit.
Transitional 27.6 - can say that it will give you a return in time ('7 days' - a year?), or that you are free to come and go to this house.
