Bye bye to being "public" in astrology?

I've studied astrology for about 35 years. I've published books. I've been present in forums. Etc. etc.
Yet I feel there isn't much more to be done and to be gained for me. Getting olde(er) I feel that there isn't much more I can do or give.

Question: Should I go on being "public" in astrology?

Sometimes it implies a hierarchy of communication where one issues a directive which must be followed by another. Fundamentally it speaks about call and response. Perhaps you would do better work with your astrological practice at the moment, by finding a way to offer your service to people who need guidance.
Line 5 speaks about a difficult beginning which needs to be set right. Some events have spoiled your connection with your astrological study and need to be re-examined to put you back in the elder's position of authority to offer the wisdom and experience you have gained over 35 years. That could mean that you need to communicate with other respected astrologers you know to receive guidance about how to move to the next step of your public offerings. It could also be saying that you may find benefit and inspiration by offering personal readings, leaving the public sphere, for now, to do your work in a more private setting with individuals who need your guidance. Genuinely helpful guidance is often more likely to penetrate in a quiet one on one situation where the communication is gentle but direct.

Actually, the changing hexagram for hexagram 57, changing line 5 is hexagram 18, Repair. I did include reference to this idea in the explanation of line 5 because you had only one changing line, the changing hexagram is inherent in the interpretation of the line.

Oh God, shame on me: I mistyped - it's 57/6 - not 57/5 -I'm so sorry. Things like these should not happen.

For 57.6 ? This is where you penetrated an issue so many times you sort of lose sight of your aims. You are over thinking, over thinking to the point of neurosis perhaps. The remedy is well...hmmm well 48 is the relating hexagram and 48.6 the fanyao....

I think you need to slow down and stop trying to make a decision for a while, just let things be as they for a while maybe ? I don't think this is categorically a 'yes leave' at all unless you feel you over penetrated with the astrology work to the point where you don't know which way is up ?

57.6 - 48 suggests trying to penetrate a bottomless pit.
Perhaps you are feeling that you could go on and on with astrology but to what purpose? With Saturn, the ruler of limits, retrograde in Sagittarius, the sign of philosophy, along with four other planets including Mercury being retrograde too this month, it makes sense that you would be experiencing a feeling of having gone as far with it as you want to go - for now anyway. Meanwhile I wonder if there are other areas of your life that need to be brought up to date? With Saturn at the last degrees of the sign it's in this could signify a time when old obligations need to be fulfilled before new opportunities open - maybe you need to direct your attention to completing practical chores for awhile and then once all the books have been taken back to the library and all the thank you notes have been written you'll find you have renewed enthusiasm for the astrological work. Anyway, I would interpret this reading as validating your sense that it's time for a change - but please don't burn any bridges just yet!

Compliments - your astrological interpretation is accurate.
Any other areas in my life that should be heeded? Oh yes! Very interesting: your mentioning Mercury being retrograde soon. Other qualities of mental activies - reflecting (among others) what might or should have been realized (!) And yes, you're so right: this is not the moment to quit. It's good I'll go on a holiday next week...
