I really need some help with this one. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Back a couple of months ago I was involved in a car accident where someone hit me from behind. I found someone to repair the car, the insurance company came out to the repair shop to appraise the damage and sent the car repair shop a check.

I'm not really a car person and I don't in anyway like dealing with car stuff, but I had an intuitive feeling that there was something not right about the repairs to my car, so after I picked my car up from the repair shop, because by this time I lost all trust in the repair shop, i came up with a plan to contact the insurance company and asked if they would come out and take a look at my car. And they did. When they came out, they looked at my car and found that the repair shop had failed to do what was listed on the repair appraisal. Not only that, the repair shop had also sent in another invoice to the insurance company requesting funds for a part they said they put on the car but didn't even put it on. Because this was not a repair company the insurance company found, there was nothing they could do about it.

So I contacted the repair company because my car was not riding appropriately. There was a lot of shaking when I increase spead. I felt like it needed to be balanced, which the insurance company paid for but they didn't balance. They told me to bring it up and they will balance. After the balance the car was still shaking when driving, took it back and the car needed a new wheel because the wheel was bent, which the insurance company had also paid for this. So after all of this the car is still vibrating when I drive it. Not as bad but i can tell that something is wrong. So I asked the I Ching:

My car is still not driving properly. What is going on with my car? 9.3>61

Hmmm it sounds as if the I ching is saying that something is loose near the wheel? The line says:

Legge: The third line, dynamic, suggests the idea of a carriage, the strap beneath which has been removed, or of a husband and wife looking on each other with averted eyes.

Wilhelm/Baynes: The spokes burst out of the wagon wheels. Man and wife roll their eyes.

Blofeld: The chariot is separated from the spoked wheel. Husband and wife stand glaring at each other.

One interpretation also say, "the cart throws it's axle strut"

What could that be? I don't know anything about automobiles so I have no idea what to look for. Can anyone help me with this? Please and thank you.

I don't know much about cars either, but the I Ching is clearly pointing out that something is wrong with the wheels or the axles. The repair shop should really be able to locate this trouble!

I think you need to check the suspension.
(a good mechanic knows what to check, usually the suspension check is done after a major pot-hole or an accident, then if some suspension parts were replaced you need to do laser based toe|caster|camber alignment, if the car doesn't go in a straight line when the steering wheel is in central position).

Silent blocks, the axle,
and if the wheel is on the steering axle (usually in front), then ends of the steering axis (arms?). Basically everything that is connected to the wheel.

hex 61 gives an image of the hollow area in something that looks like a wheel, so again the axis|axle stuff where it connects to the wheel.

If the repair shop doesn't know this stuff already - they shouldn't repair cars at all.

Just look at it, there are many parts.

Also the tire itself can be damaged, so replacing the wheel(the steel disk part) may be not enough.

So I took my car to a different mechanic today to find out what was going on with the shaking. Come to find out, the mechanic that I took it to the first time, instead of them removing the original bent wheel and adding the new wheel, they removed a wheel that was not bent and left the bent wheel which is causing the car to shake. (Shady Business Practices) Their mode of operation is to have you sit in that place for three hours and frustrate the heck out of you, so when they're done with their shenanigans, you won't notice because you're trying to get the heck away from there.

They took one of my original wheels that had no damage whatsoever and put the new on and left the damaged one on my car. Now they must order me a totally new wheel because they sold the one they took off the car, in hopes that I wouldn't realize it.

Thanks so much for the help. I really appreciate it.

Because they were trying to be shady, they are now having to replace my wheel two times, instead of one.

What an awful organisation, how could a person just do this ....

You can at least write a bad review or something, or speak with a manager or even go higher and speak with the owner to get the mechanic fired.
