My cat has gone missing. At first we thought he was just on his usual spring fling. Though he has been "helped" he still does this once each spring, and that time of year seems to have arrived in our locale.

It's been longer than usual though - mebbe 6 days, and he has been kerfluffled by the presence of two or three rackety-coons who have invaded the garage at night, making entry through his personal cat-door. One of these coons, an adolescent female by size and behavior, has been humanely captured and re-located. Momma coon though is still on the loose.

I asked Yi about the cat, picturing him in my mind, and got 50.2.4.6>15.

I think line 2 is reassuring me that the coons didn't get the cat.

Line 4, that the cat found sharing quarters with the coons unacceptable.

Line 6 - that he is really ok, not hurt, not sick, having a good time frolicking.

15 suggests that I do a thorough search of the neighborhood and perhaps the pound?

(doh!)

Then I asked how to go about getting him back home, and got 10.5>38.

I'm thinking that this means he may be in some danger if I don't do something now. (It's raining and windy outside.)

anybody see anything I've missed??

Yes, and have given them enough information that they will know him if he turns up there. Thank you for asking, for your concern.

I believe that your cat is still trying his best to do what comes natural, busy boy. Probably got into a few fights as well.

"Then I asked how to go about getting him back home, and got 10.5>38."

It will prove to be somewhat of a difficult task, so don't go rushing into the search, think carefully and do a gradual step by step search.

My idea is that he is in a south westerly direction, probably in or around some kind of 'factory' where it is warm. Not that far away, a few miles perhaps.

Chip, our cat, just walked in the front door as I was leaving to go for a look-around! He's soaking wet and hungry and wanted some brief lovies more than food!

So happy to hear this!
I once got 38 when i consulted the I Ching asking for insight into the nature of Budha. 38 said to me that Sidartha had to leave his home and family (38 following 37.Family) and this is what "molded his character." So perhaps kitty has had an enlightening experience too!

That is good news! I once had a cat who disappeared for 3 days, then came trudging up the sidewalk looking all draggle-tailed like Snoopy on a bad day, gave a small, pathetic, exhausted "waanh" instead of his customary chipper greeting,"WOW!" , then flopped down on the living room rug and slept like the dead for most of a day. He never told me where he'd been.;)

Yes I'm glad to hear it too. I went missing the other week. My cat went looking for me everywhere, but I was gone for days. My car too, which really troubled him. One rainy day, he was particularly worried, and he pressed his face against the neighbor's window, looked, looked ,looked , and when he saw my neighbor through the window, bared his teeth at her and walked away. True story.

I have managed to live-trap two raccoons and a feral cat now without injury to them or to me. The cat I let go, the raccoons have been relocated some miles away. I asked Yi to give me a picture of the raccoon situation, so I could decide whether or not it was time to stop setting the trap at night. I got 57.6>47 which didn't seem to be a lot of help. So I asked what would happen if I stopped setting the trap and got 28.3>47, what would happen if I continued to set the trap and got 45. Looks like I need to keep at this a while longer.
