There is a celebrity - a famous female actress - who has made appearances in dreams every now and then over the years. (I am male, by the way.) The dreams have never included anything erotic/sexual; if anything along those lines, there is more a teammate aspect, though that seems not the best description.
In the most recent dream - by far the most involved, vivid and cryptic - we meet on what seems like a movie set; she has an assistant. There is a strong connection upon our eye contact, though nothing much is said between us, though throughout the dream this connection, or bond, is the 800-pound gorilla in the room. Both of us, however, seem very conscious about keeping things muted, as if we are aware of something going on but more intent on observing its early stages and each other.
At the end of the dream, as we leave to go see "a show" together, I lift a low-hanging tree bough that is over the sidewalk, so that she can cross under it. At that point she smiles at me, and at that point it is clearly evident that something is going on. There is something there.
Also in the dream there is a moment when we are walking along a sidewalk, shortly before I lift the tree bough, when I think to myself, "it worked, it worked," and whatever "it" is that has worked has surprised me greatly and quite pleasantly, and clearly is connected to her.
Last year - not dreaming now - I was walking a sidewalk toward a museum in the large city in which I live when someone rushed out from the crowd, almost running into me, running to her hybrid-type car double-parked on the street in front of the museum. The weirdness here is that without seeing her - all I saw was a quick flash of denim pants and white blouse - I knew it was her. Knew it in my body. And this knowing was immediate, as if sheer proximity had catalyzed it.
And sure enough, as my eyes followed her as she ran to her car then turned to face my direction when she got to the driver's side door, then looked up at me looking at her, it was her. She paused a moment, we held the gaze, and then I turned away and continued walking, not wanting to spook her or invade her space.
This morning I asked (because I had come across a story about her in the news), What Role Does ______ Play in My Life?

The Chinese word for ‘enthusiasm’ contains an elephant – a character that also means ‘image’. The elephant is magnificent, strong, a source of delight – and also unpredictable and potentially dangerous. Imagination and anticipation move us with ease; with them, we can be motivated and inspired – or we can be carried away by the power of our own story.
The energetic charge of enthusiasm can be used to set great things in motion. It is good to use it to expand and enrich your experience by extending your network of communication and support, marshalling your resources ready for future challenges. And it is also good to use such structures to channel the motive power of enthusiasm, and keep it from running amok. Then its brightly coloured images can be woven securely into the larger patterns and meanings of life.
