Hello Fellow Seekers,

And now that William Clark has said no - but encouraging me to submit elsewhere, I am left with the huge Trident Media group in New York. I hope they will sign me up. So I asked the Yi what my chances are with them and received hex. 63 first, and then hex. 30, lines 3 & 4 changing to 64. There are many other literary agents I can approach, but Trident is a big deal.
Please help.

Yes, Jesed, I believe you can ask the Yi the same question three times. I asked twice - yesterday . I think 63 may be indicating that there are things to complete - maybe revsion or editing coming up - IF Trident signs me up. What do you think?

Thanks

Hi Anita

Just in case the comment could be useful

1.- If i would take on this with traditional teachings, I would suggest another aproach, with more order (of course, "order" at the light of traditional teachings; I'm not judging your practice).

I would suggest (from this aproach) a dialogue, a) Diagnosis of your Labor Time, b) diagnosis of your concrete situation trying to publish your novel, c) qualification on your own position in this situation; d) qualification of Trident Media group in this situation, e) profitability of bussiness with Trade Media Group.

I had made some private readings for some people around this forum, with this dialogue aproach. They could tell you, if they wish, how worthly it is to clarify options.

2.- If I would take on this with mathematical mathod, I would suggest you to clarify how you phrase the question.
What are the real interest in the question? a)the posibility of publishing the book?, b) made money with the publishing? c) fame or recognition with the publishing?. This are 3 subtle diferences, and I would need to know them to made a usefull question.
That could be:
a) What is the prospect of publish my novel with Trade Media Group?
b) What is the ecomomical prospect within the next X months if I try to publish my novel with TMG?
c) Would I be recognized if i try to publish my novel with TGM?

Personally, I would suggest the first one aproach.

Best wishes

Hi Jesed,

Thank you for responding. Yes, I would take the first approacjh too. I had asked whether Trident would decide to sign me up. Of course if they do, it means they will try their best to get me into print. And the rest follows. I would love it if you could help me further with this question that I had asked on June 21 - yesterday.

Thanks so much for your help.

Just a follow up here. Trident did not take my novel and I landed up revising much of it - so the idea of still being completed in 63. Also 30 must have meant that I would see claerly what the novel requires in terms of revision.

Its good to see how things play out in a reading yet here I don't see how 63 related to the outcome - you asked what your chances were with them and it said 63 - already complete - so here it meant complete as in finished with ? In 63 its not still underway thats 64 which was your next answer ? hmm

Hi Trojan,

Search me! Just that that is the answer I got and at times 63 can mean it's over - meaning, no chances for an acceptance. Maybe the Yi was saying complete it first - in the sense of perfect revision and this is what it requires.
