Changes in job - 24.4 > 51

At the moment I'm happy in my job. I'm about the get a new boss amidst many other changes happening in my company over the next three months. I asked:

How will I be the most successful in the coming 3 months in my job?

I received hex. 24.4 changing to hex. 51

I'm doing my best to see this in a positive light, without perpetuating fear of layoff or worse: horrible new boss (I LOVE my current boss!)

Any insights?

Hi Viv J,

I'm sorry, I can read your question two different ways. One is that you are asking for a picture of your accomplishments you will achieve ('how will I be most successful). Two is asking how you can become successful. I am assuming it is the second one, but maybe not. Either way, here are some general interpretations about the parts of your reading you might find useful:

24- The very beginning of light returning. Just starting to feel your way out on your new path.

Line 4- Go on the path that seems right to you and you alone. This act might tear you away from things.

51- A wake up call. An energy serge.

So, maybe this is painting a picture of a situation where you are put into something unexpected (51) and it sets you onto a path (24) where you find you must act alone (line 4).

Thanks AQ. Yes you are right. My question was meant more in the sense of how can I become successful in this new role with new boss -

line 4 "Walking with others but returning alone. " My first thought is that I may not be able to totally align (philosophically, strategically) with new boss or new direction he/she wants to take things & therefore I may set off with him, but would return alone. I also see this as Yi suggesting that I keep my own counsel; rely on my own judgments; remain independent. Stay true to my own vision.

It's possible that

hex 51 - Wakeup call "Energy Surge" - I like this - if only for the fact that it describes perfectly that my job is certainly being shaken up at this point. So I take it rather literally.

Update on the job situation...

Perhaps this is 51 in motion: the head of my department just (an hour ago) announced her resignation. This was completely unexpected! This leaves much up in the air and in question -- even whether or not I'll get a new boss -- and also opens up a great deal of space and opportunity for changes.

So... I'm reading 24.4 as a time of renewal in my job - i was doing my best to support the head of my department's decision to bring in another person (who I would report to), but ultimately, I am going to be standing alone professionally for a while (until things are clarified).

In the meantime, 24.4 seems to be telling me that I can become successful by standing a lone, being my own best friend, relying on my own good judgment.

Interesting development...
