LOL no...I think Yi is pulling your leg...the lines are very literal here aren't they. These men are represented by the men with scarlet knee bands who you must make 'offerings' to ...er and you are asking about giving offerings as in gifts....but you are pretty weighed down and exhausted by it all hence you got 47 with these lines. You are may be putting too much concern into this. The answer addresses you....comically, as if these men were ministers you must please and make offering to. 16 is about preparation...hah weariness and depression in getting ready for Xmas and trying to please all these 'ministers'. Thank you Trojan - as it happened Christmas ended up being a depressing affair. As you said the whole gift thing was onerous. Trumper cologne for 3 men adds up and then there were several women to buy for - EURGH.
Here is what went down - my son said not to buy anything, we went to his girlfriends parents place.
As we have an organic food stall in one of Londons markets we took a whole heap of cheeses - I bought a lesser brand of smellies - big flowers.
My gift to the parents was an original gouache in a lovely old frame from my antiques friend.
I did not do all my christmas buying because as I was on my way to buy a young girl road raged us and
was stopping all the traffic - she cut someone up. The police came it was awful - my rubbish didnt get taken - so xmas eve was removing rubbish so xmas visitors not offended.
It was truly 47 I felt present wise - but being together the main thing and getting to midnight mass.
