Just stirred from my 48 nap to wonder - is there a hex that sums up Clarity in a single image?

Binz, you said elsewhere you access this site from
work - must be a great job - have a nap, visit Clarity, go back to sleep - hee hee - I hope someone is bringing you regular refreshments !

As to your question, I thought this site is named Clarity after hexagram 30. Presumably that was the image Hilary envisaged to sum up the site - on the front page it says something about fire depending on its fuel (or something). Well theres been plenty of that about i guess - but that makes it alive.

It definately ebbs and flows alot. I notice sometimes theres suddenly loads of new people, they seem to all come at once - other times it is very quiet - nothing happening at all. Seems like theres a kind of rhythm to it - a busy period followed by a fallow period - what hexagram
gives that ? Or is that just the natural pulse of everything ?

You take it easy now Binz

"yaawwn" blink, stretch, etc.

looking at 30, fire over fire
surrealist.org gives
"Hexagram 30, fiery intelligence. When one possesses extreme brilliance it is better to be docile like a cow, rather than try to dazzle others."
quite appropriate considering recent posts!

LiSe 30
"TO CATCH THE BIRD OF BRIGHTNESS
The Bright Bird, harvest - determination
Expansion
Raising female cattle is auspicious"

ebbs and flows, busy and fallow - not so much a single hex as the whole thing of yin yang cycling?

I just cast on "what hex would suit this community", I got 40 thunder over water (no changing lines of course, I was asking for a single hex!). seems to fit just right, as LiSe says on 40

"REMOVE THE HORNS

Horns can be aggressiveness or defensiveness, macho or status: blowing one's own trumpet.
To unfasten, untie, loosen, undo, get rid of; solve; explain, clarify, interpret; understand. Explanation, interpretation; idea, view. "

"Freedom is to be innocent.
Guilt is the most massive prison wall there is. It makes you do, think and be what others prescribe.
If you think yourself something should be done, then do it. If not, then don?t ? and don?t let anyone point at you and make a feeling of guilt in you. And never do that yourself. Making guilt is a crime against life.
Stay free and leave free. "

thanks LiSe, great advice for life which gets forgotten sometimes.

PS can anyone get to the Wengu site? I keep getting "Sélection de la base de donnée impossible" using http://gbog.free.fr/Chine/wg/wengu.php?l=bienvenue
it used to work!

#30 speaks of a net too. And we are a part of a network. All of us exchanging ideas, etc.
