Hello again :)

Your advice has been very helpful in the past, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask you guys for some insight about a confusing matter.

I asked the I-Ching whether I should write an e-mail to this guy and invite him for coffee and the response was

18.3.4>64

My next question was: What will he feel about me inviting him?
It said
24.2.5>60

Next, I asked how he would actually react to my invitation and I got
48.4.5>32

Finally, I wanted to know how our relationship would develop after (if) I took this step?
The response was
30.1>56

I don't know what to make of it, since 18.3.4>64 seems to say "Do it" but the other responses didn't seem so positive...

I would really appreciate some help.

Thanks,
Anais

It'll be a transitional period in which you begin again. Seems like you might have known him before and now want to renew this relationship. But there were problems before, and if you continue in a docile, obedient way and do not tackle the problems, then you may experience regret.

The philosophy of the Yi is that we determine how things develop by our own attitude at the beginning.

Your response says that you are in the position of a seeker; looking for something. But your first impulses have been somewhat confused or contradictory, not that you have actually done anything wrong. Get serious.

Ive responded to the two questions in which you asked about yourself or the relationship, not to the two middle questions in which you asked how he would respond. How he responds is more up to him, isn't it? and is hardly something you can control.
