I don't really get what you are saying here, but no matter. I have said what I need to about how I think the Yi works - but I really do not know how the universe or the Yi works.
But it's interesting that you started your thread above with 'I would like to think ....' So are thoughts of the I AM or of Ultimate Fact actually these things, or are they - as I suspect - just your thoughts about these things?
Best, D
Moss Elk is a he, but no worries. He has deleted his post. And again, I've shared how I think the Yi responds to us.
Best, ...
And part of your response to the question of who is responding when you divine and your own answer to the question you posed:Can the I Ching (however) reach the part that other (kinds of intelligence) cannot reach?
For example, can the I Ching reach before the great I AM?
Looks like you already have your own answer prior to asking the question . It'd be unwise for me to add - why pour tea to a cup that's already full?I think it is simply an energetic principle and therefore reflects what is going on in this energetic field. So the yin and the yang are at play, and this is the nature of the manifested world.
But prior to I AM, there is no manifestation and so the I Ching could not reflect that.
I imagine one must be pretty big to have the Yi inside of them .... I believe that Yi is not outside of me. However we choose to call it, I believe it is my higher self, the wisdom of all my prior experiences in all lifetimes. And throwing the coins allows my Human self to tap into that deeper wisdom when the Human’s perception is confused or obstructed, when the intuition is blocked. In short, I believe I am having a conversation with a wiser part of myself.
TygerChild,
Back to your earlier question:
