Conflicting lines? Hex 49.2.6

I asked the IY "Doex M feel ignored by me?" and received 49.2.6. My sense is that line 2 suggests something is possible, and line 6 suggests nothing is possible and to accept things as is. But I'm not sure how my understanding of these lines is related to the question either. My feeling was that it is saying she is when I was looking at the readings about the hexagrams, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts or experience with this?

I guess Your question should be: "What can I do so that X will feel not to be ignored by me" as You are asking for guidance... It seems to me - but I can be wrong here I know - that You expect a Yes/No answer from I Ching (?)
I can't advice You but it seems that You'll have to break down a barrier for to show X that You don't ignore X....
The socalled NanJingRule (1) points out that You should read hex 49 as a whole as no moving line is met/pointed out. When the text talks about public gathering I think it should be understood in the way that You haven't showed, in the exterior, that You don't ignore X, so that You should show it openly...
But I'm guessing in this as I haven't got a clue to whether You have allready done that.

thank you svenrus! I feel that the public gathering part seems true to me. I don't show things to people openly in general so I've tried to do so with this person more.

I proceeded to ask a question what is an image of the person's purpose in my life? and received 30.5. I'm getting confused about the sadness that seems to be present in the result, and the fact that this is also auspicious or has good fortune. I'm not sure I understand how it can be both sad and good, any ideas?

It's said that when only one changing line appears one should take this line as the oracle. Moreover the movement goes in the upper trigram from Fire towards Heaven. About Fire: It causes creatures to perceive one another in the sign of the clinging. About Heaven: It battles in the sign of the creative.
Line number five in hex. 30 is a Yinline on a Yangplace but it changes over to it's beneficial position in the following hex. 13.
