I will appreciate your input for this reading.

I am in a situation where the desicion of the goverment about my citizenship, will imply either that I remain here in this EU country for the rest of my life or maybe leave. This desicion from the goverment might be influenced by assets I own in another country. I asked Yi Jing on the effect of these assets on the goverment desición and I got 15.5>39. What is it your interpretation ? Your help will be very much appreciated.

All the best,

I asked Yi Jing on the effect of these assets on the government decision and I got 15.5>39

Line 15.5 Tell these people what they need to know but don't lie about your assets, it calls for you to get this problem sorted out quickly by presenting yourself and your proof at the government office then the process for your citizenship will start moving forward. In the end it appears that you will succeed, so don't give up but be prepared for a struggle.

I have only interpreted for myself, yours will be my first for another.
There will be influence..an obstruction to your endgoal (whether thats staying or leaving I can't tell by your question.) 15.5 the goverment should be informed to see these assets as investments, non threating.
39 your obstructed not defeated. Placing assets in trust (or something similar) with like minded capable individual will overcome the obstruction.

thats how I interpret your answer..Please read the "please read" sticky at the top.
thanks

Thank you very much indeed willowfox for your insight. It surprises me that you got exactly the same hexagram 15 with same 5th changing line !!

This is a very complicated situation involving some little money inherited by me in a 3rd country and have nothing to deal with the country where I live. All we tried was simplicity for my children to inherit this money when I die. Besides that they live in a 4th country !!!

In any case I appreciate your advise.

If we go by the text, i'm not sure at all that it's a good idea to declare some
small inheritance you have in some remote country. So, by a few different
translations:

"No boasting of wealth before one's neighbor"
"Forgetting he is rich the neighbours like him and work for him"
"Not rich through one's neighbour."

Obviously your 'riches' are far away, and have nothing to do with the country
where you now live (ie your riches are not in your 'neighbourhood'). You will
not use these assets where you are now, they are not there with you, or for
you, so the advice so far seems to not declare. Makes sense. Furthermore,
line 15:5 says:

"It is favorable to attack with force."
"Occupy and subjugate (...) expedite without permission"
"undertake invasion and attack"

and if that is done, "Nothing that would not further."

Resulting 39 somehow gives me the impression that you do want to stay
where you are now, or you have to stay where you are now. So you need to
fight hard to accomplish what you want, you need to use all your force and
all your power to focus and achieve this.

Most European, USA, Australia require that you show proof of assets in the country of origin when applying for various types of visas.

Dear Diamanda,

My readings are based on a circular view based mainly on Karcher, Huang, and Balkin. My perception arises from trying to identify the very essential forces agitating the subject of my uncertainties. The HUMBLING character suggests me to remain quite irrelevant, unvisible should I say. And the whole action of the 6 on the 5th line reveals its advantageous, friendly energy, to take care of what belongs to my children. And yes, I want to stay here and it seems that through persistence and resilience, possible with the assistance of a knowledgeable entity I will be able to match all the energies in potential or real conflict here.

Thank you very much Dear Diamanda for your iluminating interpretation coinciding in the essential with my view when I placed the question to the forum.

Thank you very much for your observation. At this moment I am beyond the point to support my application with proof of assets.
