This is regarding the same long distance relationship I have asked about before.

I recently took a trip to see her for two weeks, and although parts of it were rough, it felt like a very positive experience. Despite not being a "couple" since around the beginning of last October, I can't deny that that's what it felt like during the time that I was there—a level of intimacy that I wasn't expecting, but that made me feel good about the future.

Since returning, she and I have had the same old conversations: I want one thing, and she wants another. The thing is, I'm not stupid. If we truly weren't good together, I would have given up by now. My goal is to re-establish some level of trust, so we can at least take baby steps toward a meaningful, healthy relationship. I've tried to emphasize that no couple is perfect, and we'll get better at this over time (as I believe we have been doing).

My query to the Yi was, "What is the current state of my relationship with her?"

The reply was 50.6 changing to 32, which is the same as I got today when asking a similar question, so it feels significant.

My initial impression was positive. I feel as though, if I can restrain myself from pestering her any further, what I've already said may sink in and have a positive effect on our relationship.

I welcome other interpretations! Try to be gentle, if the news isn't good.

The top line moving in hex 50 is considered to be very auspicious. Hexagram 50 has to do with the establishment of a new way, a new regime, a new organizing principle. The top line moving is both firm and flexible at the same time: a wonderful combination for success!
