Hi all,
My partner and I have discovered some very unpleasant things about someone we've been doing business with for the past year. Nothing criminal, but we found out this person has been misrepresenting my partner, withholding information, and possibly purposefully impeding other opportunities for him. We learned this sort of spontaneously over the past two weeks (such is how the cosmos works) from around 4-5 other people in the business who don't know each other, but came to us separately to describe what's been going on.
It's obvious we need to cut ties. I asked, "How should we best deal with leaving X?" and received 18.4.5 into 44.
Corruption/Work on What's Been Spoiled gives me hope as I associate it with recovering from past errors (such as trusting this person). It also is an extremely apt description of the situation at hand. We found out she's created an atmosphere of such drama and falseness around her that no one wants to deal with her (and hence with my partner). Some important missed opportunities have come to light, and she's to blame. It's regrettable and must be dealt with.
I see 18.4 as a warning to follow through with leaving, or else, and 18.5 as a hopeful sign that the situation is salvageable overall and she won't create permanent damage.
That said, my question was "How best to deal with this?" My partner and I both hate conflict and this woman is a drama queen...she creates conflict. I know that the actual act of leaving her will meet with an explosive response.
Has anyone dealt with 18 in a business capacity before?
Also, I'm pretty sure 44 describes her; she has often appeared in readings I've done as Coming to Meet or The Marrying Maiden. Maybe an unfortunate sign of how women still can't act as aggressively as men in business without being knocked down for it...but also she's just been plain awful in many ways (regardless of gender).
