(1) From One_Stroke_Radical, three types of relationships are employed to the radicals (in this group) to derive at a more complicated radical (e.g. two-stroke radicals etc) which i think can be summarised as below:

(2) The radicals can be categorized into two groups:
- independent radical which is a stand alone character (e.g. 一,十,日).
- dependent radical which is not a character itself.

Generally, you will notice the strokes are few and the character is "simple".

(4) Radical and the Binary Code:

From (1), there is a systematic way to code the Radical into Binary Code (I am not sure if such system exists/established now?). It is the way the character is developed. Each radical represents a unique code (just like each the I-Ching hexagram being a code in itself, e.g. Hex27 - 100001). Going through the 'Space-sharing' dynamics, the character formed by the radicals could be a dodecagram!

the core forms of wholes is reflected in the nature of whole numbers, primes (differentiating) and composites (integration of primes).
When we analyse the wave forms so the qualities associated with trigrams are like primes and the rest like composites - which gets us into the wave interference patterns where the trigram qualites are invarient across the wave levels etc (as covered in the Wave material covered in ICPlus)

In image formats - at the level of the fibonacci sequence we have a cicular spiral pattern. At the level of the binary sequence we have a square spiral pattern - inbetween are all of the 'variations on a theme'.

BEYOND (e) and we move into complexity/chaos dynamics (Verhulst, Mandelbrot et al)

The focus on PRECISION means that each of the above sequences serve as positions for interpretation of reality -some will do it through patterns of the fibonacci, most of us do it through patterns of the binary (or 'beyond' - i.e. use of imagination where we put in 'extra' energy that destablises, allows for 'emergence' etc)

The RECURSION of a dichotomy is covered in the binary - what about the others? Their recursion is of fractal dimension. The range is 1.6^n to 2.0^n (less than the fibonacci sequence and there is little or no 'growth'. Beyond 2.0 and we get into complexity etc) For high precision we have to use the realm of the binary, the exclusive OR. The tightness of the spirals is determined by what number PAIRS are used out the sequence to create the spiral. (using the fib pattern as an example - 5/8 is wide, 13/21 tighter) </font>

Graphically, we focus on a circle that is exposed to time.

When we get to the binary position, the recursion is such that each row of the recursion is associateable with some 'idealised' form, and we move into idealised forms of tetrahedrons to dodecahedrons.

The tetrahedron is the 'meaning space' you get with four distinctions where each will try to maximise their 'precision' by distancing themselves from the others as much as possible - in a 3D space you get the tetrahedron (all pyramids have FOUR sides ;-))

Our sense of tast creates a tetrahedron 'meaning' space of salt, bitter, sweet, sour - as does our notions of wholes, parts, statics, dynamics ;-)

The IC then moves from 2^2 to 2^12 (dodecahedrons - compressed into hexagrams with changing lines (4^6)).

If we recursed the fibonacci sequence (1.6^n) then the forms generated would not be as 'crisp', as 'idealised' as what we get in the binary - BUT they will represent existing qualities where the development is constrained by a restriction on energy usage - binary realm is high energy, fibonacci is more conserving.

Note that the tetrahedron of taste is DISTORTED in nature, LOCAL conditions will introduce 'anomolies' to the idealised, universal, form that itself develops naturally from 'random' growth dynamics (IOW we see the pattern and idealise it)

We have few clues here:

(A)The Character - 方塊字 - is coined as a Square piece of character.
(B)The Template - 方格 - a Squared column.

(C)The image format is constructed and represented with the 笔画 (One_Stroke dynamics).

I think the "Square" has a special meaning here.
If you know the way to write a Chinese Character, the character must be well-distanced/spaced in a Square Column - a process i think very close to the tetrahedronization of the strokes and radicals.

So, Radicals can be of invariant Trigram or Hexagram qualities.

First thing i see:
A Radical (or a group of Radicals) can be qualified as a character if the spreading (and mapping) of the radical/radicals into a Square achieve a state of "equilibrium".

The meaning space enclosed by the form elicits meaning when we have a small opening that allows for noise to come in. IOW the formal, ideal, format of the tetrahedron is for POTENTIALS and as such is a 'regular' network in that all is connected as possibles.

When "noise" enters (and so the 'undifferentiated') it will 'bounce' off the walls as it is interpreted and in that 'bouncing' out will come a pattern - the Sierpinksi gasket. IOW the enclosed meaning space develops 'biases' in structure.

That pattern is the 'root' of recursion of meaning WITHIN a particular sense - IOW LOCAL dynamics will give LOCAL labels and not all of the gasket form will be brought out due to local biases in the noise -- BUT the generic forms will 'guide' the emergence of meaning. (and so we see within the tetrahedron or any other ideal form, the potential for the full development of the same set of ideal forms! - circles in circles, wheels in wheels)

The I Ching is associated with the binomial theorem (A + B)^n where A and B both equal 1. The alternative name for what comes out of the theorem is "Pascal's Triangle". Colour the odd/even coefficients of each value in that triangle and out will pop the Sierpinski gasket.
(also note that the sum of the coefficents for each row of Pascal's triangle are powers of 2 where the power is the row number)

Go deeper and more generic and we are at the level of differentiating/integrating and recursion of that dichotomy. The isomorphism shown by IDM re categories of I Ching and categories of number types in Mathematics is rooted in this focus on development of sensory systems and their sharing of neurons etc to communicate.

As such a 'radical' is like a universal-focused hexagram or an IDM quality in that it is an INDICATOR of generic meaning (or was so originally). Out of that general perspective developed full blown Chinese and so a LOCAL manifestation of general communication principles that work off the use of analogy/metaphor - we describe something through analogy to something else. In the IC this is in the form of 'situation X is LIKE the characteristics of hexagram Y' etc.
Thus written Chinese continues to be context-sensitive; Western languages have developed to remove as much of that sensitivity as possible, to be more 'universal', more 'context-free' and so usable in any context and that includes its own - allows for self-referencing.

The perspective of the IC as derived from recursion allows for self-referencing, IOW the IC can describe itself, there is no need for linkage to externals other than to fit the universal IC into some LOCAL context.

This form of communication is what makes the IC a 'language' as such, but where we use QUALITIES as analogies, not letters/words to build words, phrases that elicit the qualities - IOW the hexagrams, trigrams, etc etc are more 'primitive' but also more 'organic' in their communication of meaning. As our consciousness has developed so we have become more dependent of letters-words dynamic, more precise but that precision is on DETAILS, LOCAL situations etc, all operating WITHIN the core form, the core whole INDICATED by the 'radical'.

The chaos game - just let the 'random' selection be a stream of 'noise' coming in from some opening, as in a sensory system. (Taste is basically a tetrahedron with 'distortions' on the surface due to LOCAL adaptations). Tetrahedron also applies to 'wholes, parts, statics, dynamics' etc - recurse to add more planes and so move to octogon, cube etc etc etc)

...which is akin to recursing the set of possible radicals to elicit composites... and so four 'universal' trigrams or two 'universal' hexagrams fit into a dodecagram space (enclosed in a square) that is a recursion to the level of 2^12 and that whole space is a 'character' where local context can 'skew' interpretations besides the universal forms of interpretation.

This gets into the XOR/AND dynamics where the square is the WHOLE of the IC, all is linked together, and XOR-ing extracts each 'radical'. As we zoom-in so 12 lines reduce to 6 that reduce to 3 and EACH image formed, each radical interpreted as a WHOLE (AND oriented), can have XOR applied to extract the more basic radicals that make-up the composite forms.

If you go too far then paradox is created where what our brains think is reducable is in fact not reducable.

The heuristic manner in which common language has developed includes in this process reference to externals as well, pictograms, ideograms, 'borrowing', and the emergence of phonetic markers -- and so the small world develops out of interaction of the regular with the random. What is derived is more details, nothing 'new' per se - more so newness in expression only, not in basic form.

The introduction of phonetic markers leads to development of more LOCAL perspectives to a degree where local dialects take-on the sound of very different 'languages' - it is the sharing of the written forms that maintains a degree of universality.

Note the compression is:

one trigram with moving lines represents eight qualities represented by hexagrams that, each, with moving lines, represent 64 qualities of dodecagrams. This reflects the wave nature at work and so the 'naked eye' to 'binoculars' to 'telescope' degrees of resolution.

The compaction into the one space, the folding-up of POTENTIALS reflects the nature of DNA (AND-ness). The EXTRACTION of a PARTICULAR, and so an ACTUALISATION reflects the nature of XOR and mRNA dynamics wher we extract a whole gene out of the set of possibles.

If the Tetrahedron_Space is a "lodge" or a "playing field" within which the 5 Element evolves, the same dynamic may also apply to the way the radicals are located and grouped within a Character.
