only twice in my life did he give me this answer. the first time to a romantic question and the second time if something would have happened. I have never had experience with this line, in the sense that I was not able to apply it in reality. perhaps because it means "nothing". life continues as it is. but I don't understand what white means

She wants to understand 22.6 (36)

White means unadorned, as in how
undyed silk and cotton are white.

It means things like,
'as it is, without embelishment,
nothing added, not trying to be something other than what it is, no illusions.'

The Adornment (22) is Unseen (36)

You can also think of white as meaning something that is transparent, clear, so the inner light, inner truth is recognized. Thus 22.6 Describes briefly seeing this ideal, a vision of what is possible and then 36. back to living in the real world where we all somehow feel we must hide this light, our true selves, our knowingness.
