I got a email today stating I won 1.5 million in some email lottery and to call this number "TEL:+31-629-403-100" an ask for so an so. Only problem is I live in the U.S., I think thats a germany or france number or something, I dunno. But anyways I tryed calling but did not get through. I used the code "011" an all, so anyways I emailed the guy an im waiting for the response.

Well of course i'm pondering if this is a scam but I like to beleive an stay open-minded an so I am.

So I got Hex 56
no moving lines

Hex 56 "Traveling"

Little prosperity and smoothness. Traveler, being steadfast and upright: good fortune.

Also the Wilhelm text says:
success in small things. The meaning of the time of the wanderer is truely great.

I dont know what to make of this reading as far as an answer to my question. It showin a good fortune an success in small things, could that possibly mean I really just won $1.5 million, if so thats great.

What does everyone else think, any imput is appreciative.

Once I get a email back from this guy i'll keep everyone posted.

thx..shaolin

Hello,

the number is in the netherlands. I think it's only a fake.

This is a quite common scam... Sorry this advice comes too late, but for anyone else, it's not a good idea to ring the phone number. I've heard some of them are fantastically expensive to call.

Shaoqi...

If you don't run a virus scan daily, I'd suggest doing that as well. The last scam I received in email (which was the fifth of its kind I've received and was purportedly from my ISP wanting me to update my credit card information including my bank PIN number... yeah right *rolls eyes*) came complete with a "backdoor" program attached.

Love,

Val

Shaolin,
if you didn't enter the lottery, there is a near zero chance you won it, imho. I hope you didn't give them your bank account number. Given enough information, someone could order something over the phone and debit your account to pay for it. It happened to us, although by a scumbag relative.

But if I'm wrong, congratulations on your win.

Yee-erk. Like Joan says, don't give them information that could let them take money OUT of your account. If in doubt, ask your bank for advice on what is and isn't safe to tell them.

Hi
THIS IS A COMMON SCAM... an old one too.

There was a big bust in Canada exactly for this one.... The perpetrators had taken $millions

They use the info to raid your account or something like.

Often you pay some huge figure a second when you call the phone line too.

This is an old one... Warnings have been out on this one for over a year.

Sorry to say

Hexagram 56: don't trust strangers.

In a country which is not your own, where you are not familiar with habits and such, behave very polite and careful, but certainly never trust anyone. For country you can also read other 'strange' territories.

Thx Hilary an everyone, I was close to sendin my info untill Hilary sent me a email with the link to scambusters an it was exactly like it said, so thanx for that.

They aked for my account number but not my routing which is weird cause in order to deposit funds or take out u need both an also some other bank code which they asked for.

Thx again everyone, if wasn't for u i would have had an empty bankin account.
