Did the yi skip a question?

I asked the yi a question tonight but was also thinking about the next question I wanted to ask. Sometimes I have a hard time crystalising what it is that I want or need in a situation so I'll ask the yi if it can put it into words for me. After that I can ask what I can do about it. So I asked what I wanted and I got 33.3-12.

33.3 A halted retreat
Is nerve-wracking and dangerous.
To retain people as men- and maidservants
Brings good fortune.

This seems to be describing what I'm doing. So, do you think I am actually already doing what I need or did the yi answer my question of what I could do before I even asked it?

Hex 33.3 you find yourself in a situation that is bad for you(emotionally?) and you are finding it difficult to let go, perhaps through fear of what the future may hold. Now is the time to stand up and fight your own battles and move on.

Hex 12 problems with others are causing a standstill in the situation, so do not get suckered by rash promises or other fancy offers, just rely on yourself and let the negative situation go.

It seems that what you want is to get out of the negative situation that you find yourself in but your answer is telling you to get on with it and find a way out yourself and don't listen to others in your circle.

The more I look at this reading the more I realise the yi was actually answering my question You're quite right - really what I want to do is run away! Or at the very least tread water for a little while til I sort my head out about what I'm doing! Also I didn't ask what it was that I needed but what I wanted - 2 completely different things.
