Diet pill? 47.5-40

I have a friend who is 86 and has gotten me to order some Red Ruby Oil capsules for him as he has read their advertisements that promise it will dissolve belly fat. I did but I think it's a scam, especially after reading the reviews on Amazon. Anyway, I asked the I Ching, "What effect will Joe get from taking Red Ruby Oil. I got 47.5 - 40 : Oppression leading to Release. I'm thinking the belly fat is the Oppression so perhaps this oil will lead to its Release after all. The line seems to say it will take time (the ads say it works slowly) and perhaps the bit about making "offerings" could refer to giving up fattening foods along with just taking the pill - so that's very hopeful! But I also can read these hexagrams as meaning he has been fooled, Oppressed, and slowly he will come to realize this and thus he will be Released from this deception.
Any ideas?

hmm oppression to release??? constipation to diarrhea??? Well some pills do that. and it does shrink your waist line. reducing carbs helps too. I'm struggling with belly fat too. tried everything but exercise!

I googled the red ruby oil. it is calanus oil derived from Axthaxanthin zoo plankton from the sea. Claims: Good for heart disease, reducing weight etc. No documented evidence. I hope he is not allergic to seafood. anyway i used the wen wang gua calculation. his cure or medicine line is at line 4 and he is your friend sits at line 5. His parent line-ancestral disease or condition or upbringing sits at line 2. from the book of complete I-ching by Alfred Huang.
The fourth line is a yang element at a yin place, neither central nor
correct, corresponding to the yin element at the bottom.

So line 2 and Line 5 need to work together in controlling excess food. He must remain hopeful and have faith.

line 4 cure line is a water element. Your friend is a metal element. Metal produces water. He will be frequenting the toilet alot. It can be exhausting but this month is metal month, so he is in good shape. So nothing alarming just diarrhea.

hey. one more thing metal producing water. means he will be shedding weight. next month onwards he will see results.

not a big result just some improvements. he has to control his food though, line 2 and line 5. Personally i have taken these type of oils mainly salmon oil, they are rich in omega 3,6,9 .The ruby oil has these omegas. it helps with cholesterol level and helps with metabolic rate. hope it help him in the long run.

He lost a couple of pounds I think but he didn't get another bottle . As the oracle predicted the process was slow and that discouraged him from sticking with it.
