I asked the Yi if a certain diet was good for me, I drew 63.

What I saw this meaning being is it is good but as long as I keep at it but bad if ever I finish the diet (or way of living/eating) as that would be bad for me.

I have funny experiences with 63 as in when I've asked pretty direct questions like you have and got 63 unchanging its turned out as 'yes' - by which I mean its turned out this matter is settled, it is indeed the way to go. That could be just an observation peculiar to me but time and time over thats how its worked for me.

What kind of diet is it? I ask because I wonder if 63 is an image of the diet.
Water on top of fire - drink a lot? Food that isn't spicy or low calorie food (low energy/fire)? :)

It suggests that the diet will be beneficial but you are going to have to constantly keep at it.

Agree with Trojan on 63, especially when the question is about making a decision and/or concerning contracts and lawsuits:
"This is as good as it gets. This is all there is. The matter is settled, has been decided already."

A diet is very much a contract with oneself, isn't it?
( Spring is here and I also should agree with myself on this  and just can't ...)

I agree with the above answers.

I quit cigarettes going on 18 weeks ago, and naturally my refrigerator suddenly looked like a large pack of Marlboro Lights. I'm like, noo, I don't want to put on weight now; so what's the best way of handling this, Yi? 63. Great answer.

63 is a satisfied state. Satisfaction is largely a condition of mind. Focus on how full you are, not on how empty.

Hey, Hollis. Thanks! 12 years, great! I once quit for 10 years, then like a fool I took it up again.

Have to be careful with dieting the wrong way, I think. Let's see, WB says in 43: "If evil is branded, it thinks of weapons, and if we do it the favor of fighting against it blow for blow, we lose in the end because thus we ourselves get entangled in hatred and passion." I think that's where actual eating disorders can develop, through obsessions with weight and dieting. 63 addresses that too, saying "enough"!
