A potential love interest and I have different priorities/schedules at the moment and could be separated for up to a month - I get frustrated when these things happen

what can I learn from this present separation between us

5.1.5>46

Be patient, yield and enlighten myself...eh!

Line 1 - Head down and do the work (study) I need to get done because the month's isn't gonna go any quicker and if don't get the assessments done then we'll be separated for longer anyway

Line 2 - Relax and enjoy this time apart while nourishing myself with sincerity.

what is Hex 46 pushing upward - slow and steady....I think that again means get on with it - patiently

sheesh!!

thanks

I don't see anything in there that says this will hurt your relationship...that's good news, I think.

Beyond that I don't have much to add to what you said. :) Hilary in her book says things about the "outskirts altar" like
...outside, in wider spaces with longer views...

...see your desire as a small part of the larger landscape...

...It’s important not to lose sight of this potential, even when nothing is working and you start to think of giving up...

I think that last phrase comes from line one's step of change - if only 5.1 was moving, the zhi gua would be hexagram 48, The Well. 48 is about accessing and drawing water (a potential resource) from a well, or a temporary inability to do so.

The end of the Oracle/Judgement says, "Or breaking one’s clay jug, Pitfall." How could a person break their jug at a well? Possibly with too much haste or frustration in trying to reach the water...and then you're worse off, because now you don't have a jug...

So I think you're giving yourself really good advice. Keep busy with things you can productively do, try to relax, make a pleasant environment for yourself rather than one filled with annoyance...

Thanks Lisa you're right my frustration can lead to annoyance and I'm actually greatful for this time otherwise I'd probably lose focus albeit temporarily but it would have a domino effect if I got behind.....
