A few years ago, a Chinese NYPD officer named Peter Liang was dismissed for shooting a black person in a project. This was done by the Chinese Congresswoman Grace Meng and infuriated the Chinese community. My aunt gave my family partition letters to include our names to reinstate Liang.

Why was the dismissal of Peter Liang infuriating to the Chinese community? 26.3.6 Great Taming to 19 Nearing.
Line 3 says, "A fine horse for pursuit. Constancy in hardship bears fruit. Daily training, chariot driving, protecting. Fruitful to have a direction to go." Was the community find it disrespectful?
Line 6 says, "Is this heaven's highway? Creating success." Was it the right thing to do?
Are the changing hexagrams telling me that the community amplified their anger that led to him getting what Liang deserved?

Why did my grandma want Congresswoman Grace Meng to lose her position? 25.1.5.6 Without Entanglement to 16 Enthusiasm.
Line 1 says, "Without entanglement, Going on, good fortune." Did she think that the congresswoman made the wrong move?
Line 5 says, "The affliction of disentangling. No medicinal herbs, there is rejoicing." Is this referring to removing the bureaucratic red tape?
Line 6 says, "Without entanglement, Acting brings blunders. No direction bears fruit." Was the desire of Meng losing her position unlikely going to happen?
Are the changing hexagrams telling me that she doesn't want the situation to get caught up in the government that would lead to her desire being fulfilled, i.e. reinstating Peter Liang?

Is it possible you could ask your grandma ?

Asking us to tell you why your grandma did something via a Yi cast is not the most accurate way to find out why you grandma did something.
