If you don’t mind me asking why?No, not at all
I don't know how to use the Yijing for diagnosis of diseases - though some people do.... saw what may be demyelinating lesions. A few days ago I heard about a colleague that found out has it. .... Tomorrow I’ll call to make an appointment for a MRI.
I just want a honest interpretation.
Thanks for your response!I don't know how to use the Yijing for diagnosis of diseases - though some people do.
But given that ... looking at the two trigrams, in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) I understand that trigram Thunder (above) is associated with the feet, and trigram Heaven (below) with the head. There are no moving lines, so some people would say there is no imbalance (or disease or illness) here. Also, MS is an immune system disease, and I don't believe it's specifically associated with either the head or the feet.
The hexagram statement reads: 'Favorable Augury (omen)" so I don't see anything point to disease or MS here either.
Stepping outside the Yi-world for a moment, I am pretty sure MS is not contagious, so your friend having it doesn't mean that you do. Also, I'm curious when you say "(they) saw what may be demyelinating lesions"; what did the doctors say about this? If my doctor found something that might indicate something was wrong, he'd call for more tests, or at least have me be on the lookout for further complications or symptoms. Is that what your doctors are doing?
Reading a bit about MS, it is not easy to diagnose, in part because it shares symptoms with a number of other diseases and conditions (some severe, some not). And it usually takes a series of tests and exams to figure out what's going on: a neurological exam, blood tests, eye and ear exams, etc. So, is this what's going on with you and your medical practitioners?
Circling back to Hex. 34 - you have Heaven below, which is in the realm of ideas, concepts, etc. So, here you may 'think' you have MS, which can (or will or should) cause you to take further action to have it checked out - which seems to be what you're doing. But Thunder (upper trigram) - thought it may be sudden - also represents short-term, short-lived actions; so it is likely you'll need to go back more than once (again, and again, and ...) to find out what's going on.
What you may want to watch out for is one, your desire for quick results - when in fact this may take many more tests, exams, trips to the doctor ... for a full diagnosis. And two, you don't want your desire for a positive outcome to get in the way of you really looking at - and paying attention to; you don't want to make ligth of what's going on, and what the exams/tests. etc. are showing you.
But what I'm saying here is mostly about process - about how you should (or can) go about checking to see if you have MS or if You Don't have MS: I still don't see anything that would indicate you do. And again, this is all based on my opinion and what I know about the Yi - it is not a medical diagnosis or recommendation for treatment.

For some reason I've never forgotten an article I read years ago. A woman presented with a lot of MS symptoms but it turned out she didn't have MS but the symptoms were from drinking a lot of soft drink. If you don’t mind me asking why?
Thanks for letting us know, even though the update isn't very 'up'. I'm wondering, does 'we' mean that the medical people and doctors concur that it's very likely MS? In any case, it's good your getting more tests to further confirm this. The update is we ....
Thanks for the reply! As I said above, " .... back to Hex. 34 - here you ... 'think' you have MS, which can (or should) cause you to take further action to have it checked out - which seems to be what you're doing ..... Maybe the best update I've read on this threadI do not have this disease
I read again your first post and these are symptoms that several people experienced after covid vaccine.I’m 25 years old and recently started experiencing some symtoms. A CT scan (done for other reasons) saw what may be demyelinating lesions. A few days ago I heard about a colleague that found out has it. Since the day before yesterday I’m experiencing tingling numbing and burning sensations all over my body, especially limbs (characteristic for this disease). I realise I have so much anxiety. Tomorrow I’ll call to make an appointment for a MRI.
I just want a honest interpretation. Thank you! 34 great vigour I like to think that I’m in a good shape. I would still appreciate honest interpretations.
