Hello!

Would you please help me to understand this answer? It seemed two beautiful hexagrams but the line seems to warn about an end...?

Please let me know and thank you!

Yes it does but don't expect the relationship to be a bed of roses as there will be fantastic days and then not very good days, so just try and remain happy through thick and thin and don't fall prey to the negative times, remember everything is cyclic.

I am writing this answer today 31/1/2016.
Well, Kitty, NO your relationship has no future, it approaches its ending.
It wil be an easy or flowing ending.
Hex 19 talks about the 8th month or the harvest/conclusion time.
This harvest will take place according to the 3rd line of hex 11, which is smooth and flowing.
The 3rd moving line tells you " do not sorrow about its truth, no level ground without a slope, in eating and drinking there is blessing" : in your final meeting you are going to eat and drink, and peacefully you will say goodbye....
Please, let me know what has happened...

Last time she posted was 2010 so I doubt she'll be coming back soon on that - especially if the relationship didn't work...But I guess you never know...

I would like to differ
11.3 -> 19 is usually not a bad line for relationship
The context of the 8th month's disaster can come in various ways and it would not necessarily means a break up. 19 is a spring time, it could just mean a new stage of relationship would arrive.
both line 3 and the fan yao are not bad lines. 11.3 was talking about changes (no relationship can be stationary) and the fan yao 19.3 is about a comfortable change/approach, generally this is favorable for relationships.

Listen folks....why are you offering an interpretation to someone who posted their query in 2008, 8 years ago, and who has not visited this forum, according to her profile, since 2010 ?

I'm sure the situation has moved on.

It tickles me when this happens but it also puzzles me.

Why are you giving advice to someone who posted their query eight years ago ?

I'm curious ?

 That's what I was trying to say in the above post ....But since we've dug it out....

Since I wasn't really analysing the post as such, 11.3 doesn't necessarily mean there's an end - it's just an image of ebb and flow so yes, altair you are quite right.

The only interesting thing in these archaeological digs is if the person does come back. Has that ever happened after eight years? Dunno.

Sometimes people return after a few years but I feel eight years is pushing it.

There are a few ancient threads I'd dig up if I could find them. Like the one where someone thought a reading presaged her death. She got loads of excellent responses but never showed up again, not even to thank them. Was that because she died or because she couldn't be bothered ? We will never know.

But when someone responds to an archaic thread as if it were current it truly baffles me as you see they must know the thread is old as they would have had to look in the archives to find it at all.

Funny things forums

I look forward to more of these little gems, something like

'Shall I go to the party tonight ?' (2004 poor soul got no responses until....

'No' (2016)

It reminds me of Hilary's snail joke here it is

24.3?

This man's watching TV one winter's night when he hears a small knock at the door. He finds a snail on the doorstep and picks it up. 'Brrr!' says the snail. 'Can I come in?' Which is creepy, so the man throws the snail over the garden wall.

Spring comes... summer passes... the nights draw in... and one night his TV viewing is interrupted by a knock at the door. He opens up - there's the snail again. It says, 'What did you do that for?'

I think the line is saying - it's too early to be thinking about the result.

If you think of the question you asked in literal terms - the answer is yes. Of course. Every relationship has a future whether it be bad or good. The future definitely will come to pass. It's like asking "Does the past exist." Sorry, I know exactly what you mean obviously by the question - but I've learned it's best to be specific as possible when asking the Yi.

11 is showing you're eagerness for a committed relationship and the line is telling you to hold your horses. 19 is positive.
