Further to this thread I've asked How would it benefit me to hold workshops creating the angels as opposed to selling them

Hex 9.2.5>22

At first I thought this was a good idea but line 2 I'm not sure although drawn back may mean I just keep coming back to different ideas on how to create myself an income and a joyous time while doing it as well as making new friends/contacts.

Line 5 seems to say to share with others and Hex 22 to me is definitely the beauty of the Angels and only meeting with others in a superficial connection.

Business decision

I've been thinking about this for a couple of hours, Goddessliss. Checked various versions, finally consulted the Pathfinder I Ching,http://www.pathfinder.3rdmilieux.com/i-ching-tao-of-power-art-of-war-hexagram-9-binding.html, which is written by businesspersons for businesspersons. Very pragmatic. Can sound harsh, but I don't think that's what they mean to be, just measuring advice in what they consider a meaningful way to someone seeking success.


9: You would be best advised, child, to set your course into an entirely new direction. Or else accept the fact that you shall be stymied by the present obstacle for quite some time to come.

9.2 The obstacles before you are too deeply rooted. Begin again.

9.5 The exploitation of others will incur stiff punishment. When you are truly working for the good of all, others will join you in your efforts, allowing one and all to advance.


Summing this up, it's my impression that you as a stranger in a new location might have a hard time launching a new project that involves other people. A classic business school problem. All kinds of marketing problems, it seems. When you have a stock of beautiful little handmade earth angels to sell, you will be more likely to attract people to become customers and to attend your workshops. Can you take a few months to work out your samples?

Could it be that the ‘beauty’ of hex.22 is the beauty of nature containing its healing qualities? And about the way a plant looks, its beauty, which tells about its powers? The same character can also mean energetic.


This says to me that you are back in the woods for a reason, being healed and renewed by nature, finding inspiration there. I find this very positive both as a present matrix and as a future possibility for this casting. Maybe relax and enjoy it, gather your forces, make your samples for a season before going out into the world with them.

I went over to Pinterest.com, which I love, and searched for Earth Angels. The first thing that came up was a board with photos of pets, which, of course, people consider their earth angels, at least here in the US. (you might make pet accessories?) Then there are a lot of Earth Angel crafty photos and links, many featuring adorable things made with bits and pieces of this and that. Many seasonal themes. These ideas be useful to you...

Thanks poised for taking the time to respond so thoughtfully and positively.
Funnily enough irrelevant of the post my last nights thoughts turned to waiting a bit longer too, also with that thought of waiting until others in the area know who I am. There's a Scarecrow Festival competition mid-June which I could participate in using my skills of creation so I may go in that and also if I wait until after July I will be supported by a govt. business that supports people as they work to get their small business off the ground but if I get it up and running before then I doubt that their support would be forthcoming. - Liss
