Eviction dilemma Hx 58.3.6 to 1

I've been renting a house for the past 18 month and live with my daughter of 13. My rent is on the high side - definitely above average. When I moved in, there were quite a few very serious issues, eg the outside door that does not lock. I had squirrels living on the ceiling making a huge racket at night. A roof in the one room, leaks. when it rains the floor disappear under water. Although my contract stated that the landlord will do neccessary maintenance, he very quickly advised via his agent that he will not. After 5 months I threatened with a legal correction of this. Shortly after I received an eviction order. I reacted and they had to withdraw it. Once again I have had a threat of an eviction order. I told them to go ahead and informed the landlord that I will oppose it again, that I am prepared to vacate next year March 2014 since I plan to purchase a house. Yesterday I received an email from the agent stating she's been asked by the landlord to meet with me privately (I assume without the attorney). I am somewhat suspicious because I am not sure if this is meant to deliver the documentation or if there is finally some realisation that this is really stupid. My rent is paid regularly and I have turned the garden into a lush space.

I asked Yi what I can expect from this email and get 58.3.6 to 1. This seems to be a bit contradictory.

What can I expect if I meet with the agent. hex 35.6 to 16.
Hard work leads to good results, without blame; but even though correct, one is humiliated.

I am not sure if I should meet with her or allow them to just continue the process and have an attorney deal with it for me.

If anyone can comment or help me with this it will be highly appreciated. I need to get back to the agent and not sure what to do here. I really don't feel like dealing with this. :bag:

Yi has been a life saver to me for the past year in particular. I would not have gone to this meeting were it not for this response.

I met with the landlords agents and followed the communication guidelines. My contract was renewed for another year with the option to renew again. We agreed on which maintenance needs to be done and which can be left, and that I will continue to report issues like I have done. Certain items must be fixed. Those not done, will be at their risk and liability. If I buy a house, I can end my lease agreement and they will find another tenant.

This has taken all the stress of the past 18 month off. I am VERY relieved. It worked out just perfect. Thank you ASHTERIOD
