in many instances i have heard in the different forums a question that i think is interesting. the question is wether God exists.

our world is one of probabilities rather than fact. now, if we focus on the presuppositions needed to make our casting meaningful to us is that the sequence of 6 lines we get is NOT random. this is not a trivial or obvious assumption....

the book of Yi is a portal thru which the law of nature communicates with us. assuming there is a law of nature behind all natural phenomena is also not trivial.

as for ever seeing proof for Gods existance undermines the whole idea of mans creation as a being able of choosing what to say, do and believe
based on ones values and priorities. now what would b the big deal if man believed in a God based on tangible evidence. when God granted to man the capacity of choice he gave up control other than the law of nature. he created us, trusting us to make sensible choices but knowing we may not. thank u for listening.

Hmm... Well, personally I don't think it is food for thought. Moreover, many excellent brains thought about such matters, and it is good to examine their discoveries before opening another discussion. St. Augustin, Thomas Aquinas, Kant - just for example.
