I asked the oracle

Why does every time I try to get close to someone they push me away?​

The response was Hexagram 52 line 5.

Line 5​

'Stilling your jaws,
Words have order,
Regrets vanish.'

I've gotten this line several times before. My interpretation has been that it is giving advice, to hold my tongue and think before I speak. However that's not really a reason why, Maybe I should invert the question and ask why not?

Hello! It may be saying to center yourself before speaking to someone. When you're nervous and not centered in yourself, it may appear the talking actually pushes people away because it seems you're insecure in situations and too much can be given away or said when feeling that way. Are these relationships romantic, family or platonic?
