Does not allow partial words, at all? I get that they can't be Google, but...

Specifics: I knew I'd posted a thread about dermatologist visits in Reading Circle, and wanted to find it again just now to update, so in Forum Search I put in the beginning of the word ("dermatolo" or "dermatolog") because I didn't know if the post has "dermatology" or "dermatologist." No results, it said. (At least it didn't tell me it was too short or too common.)

Then I tried "dermatologist" and lo, there is my thread.

😐

Saying this in a non-whiny way (sorry - #impulsiveness) - be aware when searching that partial words don't seem to work.

:(

I think they want me to pay for a fancy search upgrade to get that kind of thing. For the public forums, Google is a good alternative!

Well :tongue2:   to that. (Was halfway afraid of that; entertained notion that reason might prevail, how silly.)

(Meanwhile, the reading I wanted to update about wasn't even in the thread. :spinning: Have put it in WikiWing.)
