Do you mean that link? ^^^ That one goes to the blog article.
So this is why the Resonance Journal leaves the choice of casting method with you.
Oh interesting. Any particular reason? (At the risk of over-profunditizing things.)don't like the ones where you cast one line at a time

Argh, did not mean to have two copies in the forum - thank you for pointing that out.Oh by 'regular blog' you mean the one in the actual blog section not the one in ED or the one here...well if there's a video in one best to have a video in them all. There's now 3 duplicates only one has a video.
Yes, exactly that. I've just edited the post to add the video. You can post anything on youtube into the forum, maybe she means it doesn't automatically carry over.
Hm... but if you cast with coins, then is the reading for you, or for the forces of gravity, inertia, friction etc that caused the coins to land in that formation? When letting a computer/Iphone etc. do the randomizing proces the prognostication will count for this particular device and when You yourself do the randomizing proces with to example coins the prognostication will count for You. That's how I look at it.
That's my view: you can't break it. But I do think there are good reasons for getting away from the screens to cast, all to do with human focus and attention (which are a lot more breakable).I've been working with randomizing programs many years ago and found that it demands quite a lot of a programmer to make such an algoritm to let it work like in reality ie. reality be the outcome of results from a horserace etc. etc.
But on the other hand the I Ching can reach us the most unbelieveable ways so: Why not skip this kind of logic too ? reaching us despite the fact that a machine casts the coins ??
But I'll stay conservative on that point anyway (I think )

Me too! The history of I Ching divination from turtle shells through yarrow stalks and coins has placed high emphasis on human engagement with the manifesting of the signs and symbols. The divination rituals called for time spent in generation of the symbols to be much longer than the pressing of a computer key or keys. Maybe computer consultation works for some in the modern day but for me it is way too quick. But I do think there are good reasons for getting away from the screens to cast, all to do with human focus and attention (which are a lot more breakable).
