Further studies - 19.6>41

Dear all,

It is time for ME to ask for YOUR witty advice I'm in the process of applying for Master's programs, but I have been mulling this over for way too long and now the time to act has come and I am only so much wiser. I would like some fresh eyes on this.

University 1 is close to where I live and very well regarded. The application process is a mess though, but it is said to be a good path for me despite the byrocratic problems I'm facing right now (26.2.6>36).

University 2 got me 16.2.4.6>4 for applying there, which goes well with how I have started feeling about the place lately, so I have dropped this option.

So I asked, should I apply for some other programs in Uni 1 in case I don't get in and I think Yi has never been more harsh with me when it replied with 4.4.5.6>47 Ouch.

Then I asked what if I only apply to that one program I had in mind at Uni 1, and got 19.6>41, which is good, no?

Okay, so the real crux of the matter is - though I have used i Ching for many many years, I have never used it to make a decision which I can make by myself by just looking at the facts, I trust my insticts usually in these instances and it has never gotten me wrong, but for some reason, whenever it has something to do with my education, I feel like my inner compass goes nuts and fails to support me (maybe because it is crazy important to me?). You should've seen the process when I applied for Bachelor's

So here's me looking for some confirmation that it is indeed safe to just put all my eggs in the same basket and hope that it all works out?

I like this casting for several reasons.

1. The Image suggests learning.

Thus the superior person acquaints herself with many sayings of antiquity
And many deeds of the past,
In order to strengthen her character thereby.

2. Line 2 put Bradford in mind of a traveling scholar.

3. Line 6 suggests a cosmic perspective.

4. The Image of hexagram 36 suggests education.

Bradford:
The light goes within to the heart of the earth
Brightness Obscured
The noble young one, accordingly, manages the multitude
using darkness, but with intelligence

5. And a practical reason. This school is close, and I suppose you will be pedaling there.

I don't use Bradford so it was interesting to read what you saw. My comments - "traveling scholar" - yup, this is not my home country and I only came here to study. "Pedaling to school" - I don't know where you picked that up, but the funny thing is that I want to go to this university even more so because I would be able to cycle there as opposed to having to take the train as I am to my current university. Thanks for you reassurance!

This implies you wouldn't be using powered transportation, and I am aware of how popular bicycles are for public transportation in Denmark
