Hi there...

I'm trying to clean up as much personal business as I can and get rid of unnecessary "things" now, so that I can get mobile with as little stress as possible when the time to get mobile comes.

This evening I just closed a deal on a rather large "thing"...my car, and the amount we settled on was exactly what I was hoping to get. We closed the deal with a handshake and promise to make the exchange of money-for-"thing" on Monday (when the banks open again) after we both get off work.

Now I have had this car for sale for awhile now, but I have not advertised aggressively until this week. People have made unbelievable offers...insulting offers...and given me the most unbelievable reasons for their offers. The difference between my asking price and their offers has been far less that acceptable, and there's been no point in negotiating with them. Even a used car salesman would offer me more. The last offer was so insulting...from a preacher yet...that I called the paper the next day and ordered an ad for a month. Funny thing...*grin*...but he answered the ad...and when I realized it was him on the phone I told him he was the reason I finally decided to run the ad and no deal unless he pays my full asking price in cash.

As a result of all these bad selling experiences, I asked the Yi if this deal is really going through and this man is really coming back to finish the transaction on Monday. The Yi answered 13.3 to 25. Well I understand what the Yi is saying about my feelings in this deal with line 3...*grin*...so true, but what is the Yi saying about the culmination of the deal?

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Cheerio the noo,

Val

Hi Val,

So you are selling your automobile to get mobile? *grin*
I think that you are right that 13.3 to 25 is about your feelings. But is it also about the deal?
Hard to say, because this is perhaps another example of an answer that doesn't directly address the question.
In any case, trust seems to help in such cases and distrustful thoughts might hinder.
Realization on the physical level is easier in a clear atmosphere with relatively few dark clouds.

I have to be careful here, because there are so many strange (magical) ideas around about the "power" of thoughts.
Like "if you think positively you can get what you want" and "you should avoid negative thinking by all means, otherwise ...".
No, it's not like that at all.
But I don't think I need to explain, you know how it is.

Will you buy an airplane if the deal goes through? *grin*

Hi ya Martin...

Just to set the record straight, I looked back at my post and even I was confused about who made the deal with me. The man I made the deal with was not the preacher who also called on the ad. The preacher got the hint and backed off quietly. Hint? Now there's an understatement for you...*grin*

Well there was nothing about the way the man (I did make the deal with) handled himself to give me any reason not to trust him. Everything about him shouted the integrity of hex 25 actually. So much so he was lousy at negotiating. That's why it was so easy to settle on the price I was hoping for. He showed up exactly when he said he would to look at the car, and he was very thorough and to the point with his questions, answers and decision. I was very comfortable with his promise to make the exchange Monday evening, and he was the one to offer his hand first to shake on the deal. And...being a bit of an idealist, I really love the idea of a "handshake" deal. It's a trust thing...and I love trust. It's just that since putting the "For Sale" sign in the window, I've had nothing but flaky experiences, so, I'm a bit jumpy.

I did consult the Yi again after I opened my post, rephrasing my question, and they answered 46, no changes.

No airplane yet...after I make my fortune with my art (without having to fake my death to increase the value to a livable wage), I'll think about buying one...lear jet maybe? I don't know...hmmmm...*grin*

I'm moving to a city where public transportation is more reliable, faster and much more economical than private transportation. I can rent a car for the occasional necessity for far less than it would cost to maintain a car. There's a blonde joke I like about the fact that they are many cities in the world where owning a car is a luxury rather than a necessity...NYC, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Philly, etc.

A blonde walks into a prestigious bank in NYC and asks to borrow $2,000 for a two-week trip to Europe. She offers to leave her car, a Bentley double parked in front of the bank, as collateral. The bank manager agrees, gives her the $2,000, takes the keys and everyone parts happy. She returns in two weeks time with the $2,000 plus the $15.37 interest. She and the bank manager exchange money for keys, but the bank manager tells her, "We're all quite puzzled here. After you left, we ran a credit check on you and discovered you are quite wealthy and have ample liquid assets. We can't figure out why you would want to borrow money for your trip." The blonde answers, "Where else in this city can I park my car for a meer $15.37 for two full weeks?"

*grin*

Oh Val, bless you, you have put us on the spot

I think that a lot of #13 is about struggling towards 'people in harmony' (and win-win, #14), but through a great deal of factionalism and warfare. At line 3, I get the feeling that you achieve an uneasy truce for a while - more that no-one is in a position to provoke hostilities than that everyone is angelic. But is this about you (since you recognise yourself here), or the man you asked about, whom you don't? Since you don't especially need to know the answer you asked for, is Yi seizing the opportunity to talk about you instead - again?

I don't know. I expect he'll turn up. Do please end the suspense tomorrow and tell us what happens!

Missed your last post - very nice. You will give rides in the private jet, won't you? (Except to Dharma, of course, who can fly alongside.)
