Girlfriend attacked by ex-husband, future 11.1.3 - 7

This is actually a continuation of my/our story, one that took a hideous turn last weekend.
My girlfriend lives in another country - last weekend her ex-husband attacked and raped her.
She is now in various sorts of treatment and is deciding what to do, believing that if she does not press charges then he will agree to signing over custody of their daughter so that my girlfriend can leave the country and have him out of her life once and for all.
I am aware of all the advice about such cases, fortunately we have a wonderful network of friends, family and therapists helping us.
But in my darker moments I fear that she may not be able to get free of him, so I asked Yi "what will be the outcome of all this for us as a couple?" and got 11.1.3 - 7
My interpretation is that there is definitely a light at the end of this tunnel for us, that peace will come, that it will be tough at times but by setting out to bring order, it will work out.
But I am not sure about 7 and its influence on this.

I am really sorry to hear about what happened. As for your reading, I don't quite agree with your interpretation. I don't see the Yi saying that peace will come... Hex 11 line 3 is more about the ups and downs that life is made of and also how good things follow bad and vice versa. I see it more as a reminder that when we think that everything is fine there is some bad news around the corner and, by the same token, when we think that life is dreadful then good news come up. My point is, it is not much of a line predicting the future as an answer to the question asked. So, I would be extremely cautious as, in my opinion, the Yi is not giving you the "all clear" about this situation. You need to take this very seriously and ask a follow-up question to make sure that you know where you stand and what to expect from all of this.

the ways I see it, if its not about the outcome, could be an advise how to handle it. March(7) with those support you(11.1) and with yourselves(11.3) . That's your power during those difficult times.

I had this in my mojo bag during some challenging times -a gift from a friend.

In my view, the Yi is telling you that you need to figure it out what, or better saying, who "the foxes" are in your situation. I think that illusions will have to be dispelled for you to see the whole picture, in its true colours.
