Good idea to register for June exam? Hex 22 > 30..needs quick interpretation please

Is it a good idea for me to take the exam in June? (as opposed to Dec)

Hexagram 23.1.3.4 > 30

Not sure what this means - splits apart from stubborn thoughts and let the "creative" take over. Line 3 says stay devoted to your values and Line 4 some misfortune has arrived? (perhaps the higher price i pay to take the exam in June vs. Dec and short time span). they already increased price even more by $200, so I guess that's line 4 right there


Then I asked, "Is it an efficient use of my time to retake the June Exam?"

Received Hexagram 1 unchanging...."the creative principle". I don't understand the "creative principle" thing. Does this mean wait and don't force things or just let things flow? Other doors can open for you in the meantime?

I know i asked a similar question before but that was more general - this is more of timing one.

haha, I assume ppl are either annoyed at my similar posts or uncomfortable answering a post that appears to be too important for an I-ching consultation. Well, that's random haha. I made up my mind, although I do think the second question is better worded even though unchanging hexagrams are hard to grasp sometimes. I read from Walkers Guide, "to overextend yourself or another is to create an undesirable imbalance" in regards to Hexagram 1. That's kind of how I feel about paying thousands of dollars to register for an early exam haha. (overextending my wallet and stress to resit an exam with very little time to feel confident about it)

but you can't really expect a quick interpretation can you ? Are we servants ? Besides which you are unclear what cast you got. Is it 22 or 23 ? Must be 23 to get to 30 I look at the change patterns first. Here 55 is the yang pattern and yin pattern is 59, dispersing.

No doesn't look like a good idea to take the June exam as it seems you undermine your place in some way if you do. Interesting this is a similar answer to your question about your job.

When you get similar answers (both were 23.3) you know Yi is trying to make you look at the whole picture. Are you ready for exam ? I don't know....doesn't look like it but whatever happens with it it is very much tied up with happens with your job.

You need to take the time to compare the answers you already have. I actually don't think anyone can hand you definite interpretations here....I think you have got to do the thinking.
