I got accepted to Stony Brook. I still have four more colleges I am still waiting for the decisions. The ones for Binghamton and Rutgers will come in the coming weeks, while NYU and Binghamton will come late Spring and early Summer. This post will be long.

Why did Stony Brook expedite my application? 8.3 Seeking Union (Holding Together) to 39 Limping (Opposition).

What is the likelihood of getting accepted to Binghamton? 7.2.5 The Army to 8 Seeking Union (Holding Together).

Congratulations on Rutgers, Fanofenka! Have you had any news from NYU? I just received 52>16 today and am curious about your outcome.

Thanks for the response, Fanofenka. I hope that you are not too disappointed. Yesterday I had the hazy impression that 52>16 may advise Keeping Still (52) and not getting too Enthusiastic (16) about the object of my inquiry. Best of luck with the remaining applications and congratulations again on the admission to Rutgers.

Galatea, I declined Rutgers because I felt that the program I applied to wasn't a good fit for me after looking at the past classes the college offered, which the choices weren't much interest to me.

I see. Have you had responses from Stony Brook or Columbia? No prob if you don't feel like answering - I just like to see how inquiries play out whenever possible.

Colombia rejected me while I accepted Stony Brook's offer. Stony Brook is a two-hour commute. I would have to change from electric to diesel at Huntington.
