It's funny, but though I haven't looked at those images in quite awhile, when I went looking for them in numerical order (they got mixed when uploading the batch), just by the visual, they were surprisingly easy to find. A mental picture can make a different connection, possibly even a more direct connection, than words. I could really relate to that image in the low corner of your 17. If I try to describe it, the truth of it vanishes.

Yet, I give words to it anyway. Ah, well.

There’s something about the roof caving in, or looking up and knowing there’s more distance to swim than there is air left to reach the surface, that gets someone’s attention.

whoa. these are all great. the words too. Something struck me with hexagram 29 and what you say beneath it. I know we are supposed to be getting into the visuals, but I am really digging your small words that go with too. They can be looked at on their own or together. (the pictures and the words) Those people in Hex 27 make me happy.

This is first a discussion forum, and it's certainly welcomed. :)

None of these are written in stone, nor were ever intended to be. Since you mention it, 29's image and verse was redone today, as well as 31's verse. A couple were condensed versions of already condensed verses. I most often find that the way to improve what I write is to eliminate a lot of redundant or gratuitous words, or words which have a diluting effect.

It's like speaking to a dog's mind. A dog can process one thing at a time, and has complete focus on that one thing. That can become an obsession if it repeats the behavior habitually, impulsively, i.e. 29. So the focus must be clear and singular to get to the dog's mind. If the dog is in an unbalanced/neurotic state of mind, it must be *snapped* out of that state, into the state that is desired. It can't be reasoned out, and affection at such a time only reinforces the old habitual reaction. My small lyrics are to snap out of the troublesome mind and into a desired change of mind.

It is great to see the images here, where they are welcomed. I always loved them, both images and texts. They are inspired.
Maybe coming months I will have more time to post.

Thanks, LiSe. :bows: It's fun working with photos images from you, Maria, Carin and one from Marike too. Each brings your own breath of life into the meaning.
