Before I even start I would like to thank you All for the great contribution on this website. You have been my I Ching study companions and your experiences and readings helped me a lot.
My story begins with casting 56.3.3.4.5 to 8 in regards to letting someone know what my true intentions and feelings were .Seeing the I Ching's answer I did not even attempt that. Glad I did not! the man had other arrangements and he was leaving soon.
After that, every single time I got hexagram 56 to 8 I remembered I am an expatriate, on a journey far away from home seeking union - 8 with something/ someone that has a journey of its own.
The relating hexagram 8 was the foundation of my question, I knew I was seeking union or a sense of belonging so I never had high hopes when i saw 8 as a resulting hexagram. Even to this day hexagram 56 :eek:renders me hopeless in relationship questions...i would much rather have a 44 or a 29 :) instead...they might spell trouble but are not hopeless like 56.
Anyone had similar experiences with this?

Yes at one time, until I realized we are all on a journey. Life is a journey.

Thank you Blue- Angel. Yes true, life is a journey and we're all travelers in it.
It only gets harder when you're stuck in a waiting room watching the time while others get on their own rides. and you wish you could just ride with them a little more.. even when you know you'll not settle for their destination :p

Yep, you ever read "Oh The Places You'll Go" by Dr Seuss? Children's book, but can be quite inspiring, especially when you find yourself in the waiting place.
