Geezus life can be crazy sometimes......anyway I asked
What if I just drank wine and listened to music for the next 20 years......33.3.5.6>16
Line 3 - handmaids and servants - must be my butler and maid serving me wine
Line 5 - Constant drinking and dancing is praiseworthy and good fortune
Line 6 - Richness in retreat - fruitfulness - probs talking about the wine grapes

Looks great to me - Hex 16 dancing, singing and red wine (okay I made the red wine bit up)

Retreat from the rest of society and whatever else looks good to me.....music touches my soul!!

Hex 33 meaning 'you withdraw'
Hex 16 meaning 'joyous response'

Nuclear 44 Coupling - meeting, supple meets firm

This, on the face of it, looks like it would be an ideal solution for you. Maybe that is what you'd really like to do when life gets tough. Living a seemingly joyous life of a recluse sounds wonderful.......and yet you know you would not be living life to the full. The challenge in doing this for you would be that by keeping your distance from people you would not easily be able to complete your purpose.

Maybe try it for 6 months first and see how you get on !!!! Perhaps meeting the bin-men as they come to collect the empties is all the socialising you need.:ROFLMAO:

..or it may be nothing like that for you.

Oh good idea!! It's starting to warm up and daylight saving starts this Sunday for 6 months, sounds like perfect timing for such an indulgence!!!
Complete my purpose??!! What is that? That is an endless question :LOL:
With the recent uninvited dead wife using me as a conduit for us still here on Earth I've started to reconsider my pledge to myself never to do readings again.
My kinesioligist has lent me a book called The Reluctant Psychic....so resonates with me....is that my purpose....we'll see.
Thanks my_key

Seriously, yes, this is a serious thought, I've had it too. It's not crazy, we're nearer the end of life than the beginning. It is okay to rest and enjoy...so yes..in the past 60 was retirement age.

And 33 doesn't mean one goes into total seclusion or avoids life. 33 is to do with retreating away from some things that harm you in order to go towards those things that welcome you. Heaven is the outer trigram, one retreats towards heaven as the mountain reaches up towards heaven

'She who fights and runs away lives to fight another day'. There's wisdom in the withdrawal. And withdrawal here can be perfectly consonant with having a nice social life, drinking and enjoying music and sewing and admiring the sky and dancing a bit and learning about things that interest you including learning about yourself.

If you've been struggling for a long time it's a welcome answer, I love getting 33.5 and 33.6. What you're retreating from is all those things that threaten your progress. if you retreat from them you can reach up like the mountain towards heaven.

Line 3 is much to do with being on the way to retreat and being held back by all kinds of considerations especially to do with the support you need to take that retreat, financial and otherwise. Now for example if you were successful in certain applications you've made that would enable your wonderful retreat.

I think 16 here is the envisioning. Something popped into your head and made you ask 'well what if I say I'm going to enjoy myself now and to hell with it?'.

I think it's a serious answer 'yes you can'. But as I said that doesn't mean misery and seclusion these are happy lines of retreat. Most retired people tell me they really don't know how people find time to work as they are so busy!

Thanks Trojina...that's what it's really all about just saying to hell with it!! Let's enjoy and not get caught up in the BS that's burdened me for the last 60 years.
The counselling sessions have given me great insight into WHY my life has been so 'bloody' but then I go into a space of how to overcome the issues and create a better life for myself. That's great but some days it's just like oh why bother, I'll be dead within the next 30 years so who gives a sh** let's just party (so to speak).
I can't put the application in yet as the psychologist has to get to know me, give me a diagnosis etc. I only started to relook at things because I wanted to get on to the DSP and whilst it's been a blessing and opening me up (finally) it's also a damn burden.
Today is Friday so this evening will definitely wine, music and lounge room dancing!!

It's nearly a year since I posted this thread. I
I didn't drink wine and dance and nothing else for 6 months haha but I did make changes that's allowed me to enjoy life so much more albeit with challenges.
To be honest it's the most relaxed and happiest I've been in my life.
I do however live a very Hex 33 kinda life and that suits me.

Your original question was not for just the next six months but for the next 20 years so don't stop the party now.
In fact, I think you should make a pledge to update us once a year. This could turn into an important social experiment!
