Last week I consulted Yi about a job interview and got Hex 22.3 > 27 . And things petty much when that way. I was expecting to get a call back for a second nterview by now (eventhough it hasn't been a full week even.) but ziltch....

So I consulted the I ching again asking if there is anything that can be done about this such as giving them a followup email tomorrow and I got Hex 64.2 > 35.

Now I believe the changing line is advising me to just wait it out and don't make a follow up call but I don't now.

Guess I am going through a lot of anxiety and just want to know if they want to hire me or not.

Please tell me your thoughts.

22 is actually fairly good for getting a job, especially if it involves anything artistic. You can get this job if you didn't aim too high and if the job truly suits you. This view is further reinforced by 27, which warns you to follow the straight and narrow and not be impulsive--stick to the right path. That is, if you strive hard, you have a chance at getting the job. The follow-up, 64 indicates who worried you are and that you don't believe that things are going smoothly. If you proceed carefully and on the straight and narrow, things should improve for you even though this gua is generally inauspicious for getting a job. As this gua is about communicating and not so much about whether you will get the job, it indicates that communicating with these people will not be easy. But be tactful and watchful, and it ought to leave you with great success, as 35 is nothing but auspicious for practically everything.

I'd be encouraged by this read. Braking your wheels (line 2) seems pretty obvious in meaning. I don't know if you have Wilhelm, but in case you don't, I'll copy his line 2 comment, as it seems very clear for your situation.
He brakes his wheels.
Perseverance brings good fortune.

Here again the time to act has not yet come. But the patience needed isn't that of idle waiting without thought of the morrow. Kept up indefinitely, this wouldn't lead to any success. Instead, an individual must develop in himself the strength that will enable him to go forward. He must have a vehicle, as it were, to effect the crossing. But he must for the time being use the brakes. Patience in the highest sense means putting brakes on strength. Therefore he must not fall asleep and lose sight of the goal. If he remains strong and steadfast in his resolve, all goes well in the end.

Does this a guarantee you'll get the job? I wouldn't interpret it as such, but it's clear that staying alert, without trying to accelerate, promises progress of some sort.

Nice move. Thanks for your follow up here too. That's 35 as a verb. :)
